VDL Brothers began as a farm with a single grower dreaming of providing locally grown, beautiful flowers. Now, we are bringing the produce of that farm to couples who are looking for fresh florals designed with a romantic, whimsical touch. We love to create soft, flowing bouquets, nature inspired arches, creative statement pieces and installations. We give each of our couples a high level of attention to detail, and dedicate our time to two events per month.

Being a seasonal flower farm, we have the unique opportunity to provide our clients with the freshest possible florals. We use as much home-grown product as possible, however we also outsource flowers from other local growers. Our sustainable approach doesn't stop at locally grown blooms. We also use foam free design mechanics and reuse as much as possible to minimize waste.

Sonja is INCREDIBLE! I can’t speak highly enough about her—she went above and beyond for our wedding. From the start, she understood my vision, and we stayed perfectly aligned throughout the planning process. When we began designing the florals, Sonja presented her inspiration board, and to my surprise, it included the exact same image I had independently chosen for my own board—a detail I hadn’t shared with her! Her eye for design and ability to bring a vision to life are unmatched, and her passion for her work shines through in the most beautiful final product. I didn’t know much about flowers, but I found myself genuinely excited as she described the blooms she selected for my bouquet. On the wedding day, it was so comforting to work with someone I trusted completely to execute my vision. Sonja was extremely communicative, incredibly talented, and genuinely kind—I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Sonya was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. From the very first interaction, her communication was punctual, fast, and easy. She listened carefully to our vision and provided expert guidance to help us make the perfect choices. The end result was nothing short of stunning - the bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral arrangements were simply beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Sonya put so much care and thought into every detail, and truly helped make our special day even more perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better florist and highly recommend!!!!!

My daughter got married on our property- Sonja was fantastic to work with. From planning to execution she was spot on and creative. My wedding was last month and I am so BEYOND happy I chose VDL Brothers as my florist. Sonja is not only extremely talented but also attentive, reliable, supportive, and consistently went above and beyond to make my wedding flowers and decor special and personalized. My bouquet made me cry (happy tears) when I saw it. As did the boutonnières, wedding party flowers, and decor. Each bridesmaid bouquet, boutonniere and bud vase was unique and intricately done. She really listens to what you want and makes it a reality. During the early planning process she made a personalized event plan complete with my and her own inspiration pics, and kept it updated whenever I needed to make a change. Perhaps the highlight was the Bud Vase wall that she constructed from scratch for my seating chart. It was beyond what you see on Instagram and Pinterest. She also provided a chuppah which was more sturdy and beautiful than any I found elsewhere, and was hands on with managing the set up and take down of all the decor. I was worried about “spending so much on flowers” but honestly the flowers/decor/experience working with her was easily one of my favorite parts of my wedding, and worth every penny and then some. Her pricing is a steal for what you get with her.
