Cape Lily is a floral design business focused on connecting people to nature through floral experiences. Our studio creates florals for weddings & events and leads botanical workshops and travel experiences. In 2021 we are launching a range of botanical wallpaper and textiles - Imagine seeing your wedding florals translated into custom table linens after your event! We travel outside of New York for select events.

Sylvia Lukach is the daughter of a florist and a gardener and is passionate about sourcing locally grown, seasonal and sustainable flowers in keeping with the "slow flowers" ethos. Our designs strive to be inspired by nature yet innovative and edgy. We believe every floral design should be unique and extraordinary.

I was blown away by everything Sylvia and her talented team did for our wedding. It wildly exceeded my highest expectations. I was left speechless by how beautiful and breathtaking everything was. Sylvia was incredibly easy to work with. She was very communicative, gave us great recommendations on which flowers worked the best, and her work was just amazing! Her team worked very efficiently on the wedding day and everything was way beyond my expectation. I felt very lucky to have Cape Lily as my florist and I highly recommend her team.

We used Cape Lily for the wedding of our daughter at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Through our initial contact, we found Sylvia, Cape Lily’s owner, to be both reasonable and responsive. On implementation, we found Sylvia to be hands on, dedicated and hard-working. The end product surpassed our expectations as our guests were absolutely enchanted with the flower arrangements and some them even took arrangements home after the wedding.
