Each spread that we curate is designed to be an interactive appetizer and aperitif, which is enhanced through its presentation of local ingredients and worldly wise products. Our name “Sophisticated Spreads” speaks for itself as we are here to take your party to the next level!

We specialize in creating stunning spreads for a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings of 12 to grand celebrations of over 150 guests. Weddings and large-scale events are our forte, and we’re equipped to travel to make your occasion special wherever it may be. Additionally, we excel in curating exceptional gift options for employees and have proudly delivered over 150 curated boxes for corporate events. Our flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence truly set us apart.

Sample catered weddings

We were inspired by the stunning backdrop of the Napa Valley vineyards, which set the perfect stage for an elevated yet relaxed rehearsal dinner. Our goal was to highlight the region’s rich culinary heritage with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, beautifully displayed to complement the rustic elegance of the winery. The use of heirloom tomatoes, artisan cheeses, and handwoven eucalyptus runners added a personal touch that tied in seamlessly with the surroundings.

    Sophisticated Spreads and the owner Emmy are incredible to work with. Emmy is extremely passionate about what she does, constantly researching and exploring new fancy cheeses and pairings. The boards are beautiful, always delivered on time, and they have been flexible/accommodating with last-minute board requests. I love working with them and always look forward to the beautiful (and most importantly tasty) boards from them!
