Excellent experience with Kafe 421
We had SO many people comment on how great the food was at our wedding. We spoke with several caterers prior to choosing Kafe 421. Ultimately it was their prompt responses and the way they were so willing to work with our specific dietary needs. We have a child with food allergies and we worked together to make the ENTIRE meal and desserts free of peanuts/tree nuts/dairy/egg. The entire wedding planning process was so smooth with them. They answered questions very quickly, came up with creative solutions, and we never felt upsold. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for delicious food and awesome service every step of the way. The night of the wedding we were so impressed with both the quality of the food and the caliber of the staff.
Best Wedding Meal EVER!
Kafe 421 is the best! I had wedding guests all evening commenting on how delicious dinner was. Great selections, freshly prepared, and the staff are super easy to work with. We did family style for about 75 guests, and it went off without a hitch. Highly recommend!

We worked with Antigone and Kafe 421 to plan an outdoor wedding and reception for 25 in October 2020. From start to finish, the 421 team was approachable, professional, and efficient. Antigone was creative and accommodating in planning not only lovely menu, but also a safe, COVID aware way of serving our guests. She also arranged to have a rental company rep meet us on site for an outdoor planning meeting, so we could all make decisions together on a tent, tables, chairs, etc. The extensive and varied menu choices made our reception dinner a very special one. The 421 crew were a delight to have on site. They clearly enjoyed their work, were friendly in their service, and anticipated what needed to be done. Antigone and team provided an organized framework, delicious & well presented food, and unsurpassed service, all of which gave us the gift of enjoying our party. We loved working with Kafe 421!
Exceptional Communication, Quantity and Quality!!!
The Special Events team with the University of Minnesota Athletics Department has been working with Kafe 421 for over a decade. Not only are they a preferred caterer in our facilities for our rental clients but we also use them for many of our athletic special events for donors, sports teams etc. Working with Kafe 421 in both aspects (as a venue and as a customer) is always a great experience. The communication, amount of food you get and the QUALITY of the food are all exceptional. I always say that you can tell they make their food with love. We are thankful for the relationship we have had with them over the years.
