Grate Expectations

Hi there, I'm Nedine, the Chief Cheese Officer of Grate Expectations. I was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and now live in The Capital Region, which makes me your #upstatenycheesegirl. I specialize in creating custom cheese and charcuterie boards. Pre-Covid, hosting friends was one of my favorite pastimes, a trait passed down from my mom no doubt. She is the queen of social gatherings, and has taught me that we eat with our eyes first; therefore presentation is equally important to taste.

Creating graze boards became a passion of mine. I love that every board is custom, with no two boards looking exactly the same. They are the quickest, and prettiest way to feed my guests during movie or game nights - with fewer dishes, which is an added benefit for sure! After many words of encouragement from family and friends, Grate Expectations was formed in November of 2019.
