Mrs. Corbett & Co. LLC specializes in baking custom and from scratch cakes! Birthday cakes, graduation cakes, wedding cakes, and cakes just to eat because why not? Honestly, any type of cake you can think of, I will try my best to create it! Additionally, I do pastries on the side like macarons, cupcakes, pies, cookies, meringues, hot chocolate/chai latte bombs, brownies, etc.

I started baking cakes at home and taught myself how to build, decorate, execute, and deliver specialized cakes. I could not believe how many people asked me to make them cakes just from word of mouth. Because of this, I started my first ever business, Mrs. Corbett & Co. LLC and my Instagram (personal information protected by Zola) in November, 2020. My certified kitchen space is in Selma, NC and I live downtown Raleigh.

    Shawnee is one of the best people and makes the best cakes. She is very reliable, and was the only vendor that did not cancel on my pandemic wedding. She made a beautiful cake, and was able to deliver on time with no issues. Shawnee goes above and beyond for cakes and has one of the most creative minds ever. If you ask her to build it on a cake, she will execute. I have recommended her to so many other brides/friends and she never disappoints. Thank you Shawnee for everything!

    We had Mrs. Corbett provide us desserts for an event at a home in NJ (yes, she travels!) and it was nothing short of wonderful! Cake, cake pops, and cheesecake/chocolate shooters, all delicious. We love how she can bring ideas to life, and is so original in her designs and work! Not only did it look beautiful, it tasted wonderful too! She is timely, friendly, and SO easy to work with. Would recommend for any occasion!

    We have used Mrs. Corbett’s for multiple occasions ranging from anniversary cake to a gender reveal cake. Every cake was delivered on time, quoted correctly, and beautifully designed. Shawnee definitely spends time perfecting her designs and her work speaks for itself! She also makes beautiful cake pops, cookies, macarons, pies, and other awesome desserts. Check her out!!!
