Stressful and disappointing

I so would like to be able to give Cake & Co 5 stars, but the overall experience working with Stacie was a bit stressful and disappointing. We booked with Stacie to make a 3-tier cake for our Sept 7, 2024 wedding- in the beginning she was pleasant, quick to respond and helpful. However the quality and promptness of communication quickly worsened. Once we had picked out cake flavors for tasting, it took her 1.5 months to mail us the box. Throughout the time working with Stacie I often had to email her more than once over 1-2 weeks in order to receive a response. It caused a great deal of stress for me while planning a wedding nearly single-handedly! The tasting samples were delicious and we chose the chocolate salted caramel ganache cake; delivery was free and seamless on the day of the wedding which I appreciate very much! However the cake tasted nothing like the samples. Although it was beautifully decorated and exactly what we wanted visually (thus the 3 stars and not less), it was extremely salty and the frosting was greasy and seemed to lack any sweetness. We had several guests mentioning that it was an odd tasting cake/cupcakes. There was also no ganache to be found in the cake- it was really just chocolate cake with flavorless frosting. Unfortunately it gets worse- since we never received our anniversary cake that was included in the package and our venue told us they never received it, and although Stacie offered to mail us one, it has been 5 months and despite my emailing once more, she has not sent it to us.
