I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by weddings and events. My family owns an event venue there still. I took a detour and played professional golf for a number of years before A. Cakes was born in 2021. It was only fitting that I come full circle and work back in the wedding industry where my heart truly lies. I am in love with the process of learning, practicing and executing new and fun techniques on my clients’ cakes. More than that, creating a cake for someone’s special day gives me the most warm feeling. It’s truly why I do what I do.

I have extremely high expectations of myself and work towards perfection. I want my cakes to look as close to flawless as I can get them. The result is a wedding cake that is fit for your wedding album as a piece of art. It wows your guests while also tasting amazing!

    A. Cakes Bakery was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. They were incredibly adaptable, communicative, and understanding throughout the entire process. The cakes and desserts they created for our special day were not only delicious, but also true works of art. We came from out of town and accidentally had the time for pickup confused with our original time zone, but they worked with us to make sure we could pick it up late. They also have delicious and adorable tasting boxes that helped us find the perfect flavor - we ended up going with a champagne cake and loved it!
