Creekside Cabins & Tavern is a rustic wedding venue located just eat of Payson, Arizona. This historic resort is located at an elevation of 5,900 ft and situated beneath the Mogollon Rim hidden amongst the world's largest stand of Ponderosa pines. If you're looking for a peaceful, secluded wedding location surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, Creekside Cabins & Tavern could be the perfect choice. Creekside Cabins & Tavern features a restaurant, a bar, and a 2,500-square-foot outdoor patio in the the pines. We chose Creekside as our wedding venue and we are SO happy that we did! From our first impression on the venue tour to the day of the wedding, everyone working there was so pleasant and excited to help us have the wedding of our dreams. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. The views of the Mogollon Rim are unbeatable. We opted to have our guests stay on property with us for the whole weekend. There are so many outdoor activities to do nearby, and it was such a nice escape from the Phoenix heat. All of our guests loved it! We had the rehearsal dinner out by the big fire pit near the cabins. The staff was very attentive, the food was fresh, and the drinks were cold all night. On our wedding day, we were blown away by how helpful everyone was. We did a lot of the details ourselves, which can be overwhelming, but we had the help of Justin and Josh which made it all flow together seamlessly. One of the best things about this venue, other than the view, is the food. It is the best food we have had at a wedding and all of our guests agreed. We served steak, salmon, and chicken. Each dish was perfectly prepared. We got married at the end of June and had perfect weather. The atmosphere was chill but so fun when it was time to party! Our entire experience getting married here was exactly what we wanted.

Justin and Josh are so incredibly helpful and make sure that your wedding day runs smoothly. The food was great and the venue is beautiful. The only thing to keep in mind is that these are cabin and can be a little rustic but the beds were comfy, there was AC, and they’re clean! I loved having my wedding here and would definitely choose them again!
Rehearsal Dinner Mexican Buffet for 50!

Our son was married at Creekside last fall. The bride's family rented all the cabins for Friday & Saturday night. My husband and I hosted all 50 guests on Friday night for a 'rehearsal dinner'. We ordered the Mexican Buffet. The event was set up outside near the picnic area across from the cabins & restaurant. We were the first folks to host a large rehearsal dinner outside so there were a few issues we all had to work through. That's the only reason I didn't give every category a 5- these were issues from the initial planning & pricing. But the event itself was fabulous. The staff was very attentive to every request or question. The set up was easy and the food great! Because we were outside, it was perfect for visiting and mingling. We also asked for a big fire and supplied everything for s'mores in addition to other desserts. Would definitely recommend an outdoor event instead of being in the restaurant-- weather permitting. The venue has photos if interested.

We loved having Creekside as our venue! You CANNOT beat the views here! The whole process was seamless and communication with all the staff was always clear and very timely. Special thanks to Justin and Joy for helping us with everything for our day. We especially loved how dog friendly the venue is. The signature drinks were delicious as well as the food (we did mimosas, margaritas, and street tacos). Could not have been better!
