Q: What do you wear?

I usually wear either black, navy, or grey gowns to coordinate with your wedding colors, but I am open to other colors and styles per your request!

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

I provide music for prelude, ceremony, cocktail, and reception! You can choose all classical, all contemporary, or mix it up1

Q: How early do you come to set up?

I arrive about 45 min to an hour early, depending on the complexity of the venue.

Q: Do you take music requests?

Yes! I have an extensive playlist of music to choose from, and I often take special requests during cocktail hour or reception.

Q: What makes you different from other musicians?

I have devoted my entire life to being a full-time musician. This is not a hobby or side-gig for me. I pour my heart and soul into every performance that I give. My violinist and I are husband and wife, so we rehearse together more frequently than most ensembles.

Q: Do you learn new songs?

Yes! Depending on the availability of sheet music and the complexity of the song, this might incur an additional fee.

Q: What is your style?

I am very adaptable to the style of each wedding, and I customize each playlist to my client's tastes. I personally have very eclectic music tastes and enjoy playing every song in my gig book.

Tyler Hartley is an award-winning harpist delivering polished performances that make your event shine! Customize your wedding soundtrack with the timeless elegance of Bach and Pachelbel or modern favorites by the Beatles, Ed Sheeran, and Beyonce. Harp and violin duo available upon request. Tyler attended the prestigious Eastman School of Music, where she was a recipient of the Eileen Malone Scholarship, and then later attended Kennesaw State University, where she was 2011’s Concerto Competition winner. Tyler serves as principal harpist for the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre Orchestra and the Georgia Philharmonic Orchestra.

I have devoted my entire life to being a full-time musician- this is not a side hustle or part-time job for me. I pour my heart and soul into every performance so that your fantasy can come to life. My violinist and I are a husband and wife team who rehearse more frequently than most other ensembles.

Tyler provided GORGEOUS harp music for our wedding ceremony and we could not have been happier! She's classically-trained, plays on a beautiful instrument, and has an immense arsenal of harp arrangements for any song or piece you could want at your wedding. I'm a classical musician myself and wanted ethereal music that would add to the magic of the day and she did JUST that. She was a clear communicator leading up to the big day, showed up early to set-up, and coordinated with our wedding planner beautifully so everything went off without a hiccup. Such a professional! Cannot recommend Tyler enough.
