Congrats! The Riverside Hitmen is one of the most talented and fun bands in the Midwest, playing hits from all genres and every decade. On top of our ridiculously fun band, we include our DJ and Emcee (Kyle), providing music and announcements from the moment your guests arrive until the final note. The band (with DJ/EmCee) in the Twin Cities area is $3500. There’s no tax, and tipping is optional. I find it's best to talk about your vision, and see if we're the perfect team for you. Our "special sauce" is in our approach. Yes, we're a great band, yes, we've been doing it for years, and yes, we have the best horn section in the Twin Cities. But we want to get to know you, and work with you to create your perfect party. How can we make this night REALLY special? The. Perfect. Band. Hands down the best return on our wedding "investment." For many of our guests, the band was THE highlight of the day—and I think it says everything that I'm not the least bit offended by that. Seriously amazing musicians. The bandleader, Kyle, was an absolute legend to work with. I've heard from several friends/fam who called him after our wedding that he went above and beyond to help them find their second-choice band because the Hitmen were, sadly, already booked. He's just the most lovely person. Talented in his own right and, I must say, surrounded onstage by some of the best singers and players this side of the Mississippi. Their equipment produced incredible sound quality, even though the space wasn't designed for great acoustics. Plus, when we got a late start to our reception, the band called seamless song-selection audibles. If I had a time machine, one reason I'd do my wedding day again would be to relive the dance party the Hitmen threw.

The band was amazing!!! Everyone was talking about them the entire reception and it has came up every time without fail when seeing our friends and family after the wedding as well. Couldn't have asked for better communication and MC skills from Kyle and the band absolutely blew any expectation out the the water with their musicality, we were so glad that we added on the brass players. It was also so great to have our first dance live! They brought the energy and it made the night for sure. 100000/10 would hire again, no regrets

Do not look anywhere else for a wedding band - I wish we could give more than 5 stars to The Riverside Hitmen! They were absolutely fabulous entertainers/performers and so wonderful to work with. Kyle made the coordination piece of it SO easy and enjoyable. Book Riverside Hitmen NOW - it’ll be the best vendor decision you make for your big day!

We typically wear formal wear. The guys are often found in suits and/or vests, and the gals are often in dresses. We're open though. Let us know what's appropriate, and we'll dress accordingly.

Yes! We learn 1 new song for every couple. Most couples use this for their 1st dance (if we don't already know it), but it can be for any time throughout the dance.

Lots! We've been playing together for years. The core band has somewhere around 500 performances together. Also, we include our DJ and EmCee. It's non-stop entertainment for the whole night. Plus, we have a great system of organization that you have access to (on Google Drive). You can see all of our details, and be as involved as you like in the planning process.

Yes! We always show up with a list of what we think we'll perform (you have say in the list, if you want). However, we take requests from you and your guests throughout the night as well. If the band doesn't know it, we'll DJ it on one of the two band breaks!

Yes! Most of our Ceremony options are $300 (Cellist, Pianist, Guitarist, Sound System). Yes, we provide music for Cocktail Hour as well. We can DJ for free, or have our Jazz Trio for $300.

Probably! Let us know what you're looking for. 9 times out of 10 we can provide it.

Yes! Up to $1,000,000.

We play dance hits, period. If it gets people moving, we play it. Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, Lizzo, Stevie Wonder, Bon Jovi, Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain, Justin Timberlake, Tina Turner, Post Malone, Backstreet Boys, Guns N Roses, Journey, and hundreds more.

As early as we can. Usually Kyle sets up equipment around noon, and sound checks with the musicians in the early afternoon. The musicians head home for a few hours while Kyle stays to DJ and EmCee.

Yes, we bring our own lighting! You'll want to find your own photo booth though. :)

Travel fees vary. Most of the time: 1-2 hours from Twin Cities: $50-75 per team member 2-3 hours from Twin Cities: $100-150 per team member + lodging

There's no tax! To be honest, we're not sure why there's no tax on musical performances, but we're not going to bring it up to the IRS. Tipping is appreciated, but optional. We get tipped about 50% of the time, and it's usually $25-$100 per team member.
