Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment was a tenacious vendor that tried their best to contribute to our special day. The DJ did an amazing job with the ceremony, ensuring it went perfectly. However, they ended up messing up our introductions and did not really listen to our guests or myself, the bride, when it came to music requests. But you could tell they were putting in their full effort to make our wedding reception a success.

We worked with James as the wedding night DJ. He reached out the week of the wedding and we had a great conversation about what we were looking for. He arrived early to be set up and out of the way of our ceremony. He was super engaging without being cheesy. He took requests and overall did an incredible job. Midwest sound as a whole did an excellent job with answering questions prior to the event and being very communicative every step of the way. They also were one of the most cost effective DJ companies we looked at!! I was incredibly happy with their services and would recommend them to anyone.

Arty and his team at Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment were wonderful to work with for our wedding reception. Communication was excellent throughout the planning process - Arty was very responsive over email and phone, checking in often to make sure we were on the same page regarding music selection and event flow. On the big day, Arty was extremely detailed-oriented and professional in setting up the sound equipment and coordinating announcements. He made sure the dancefloor was packed all night by reading the crowd and playing songs perfectly suited for the vibe. Arty even checked in with us several times during the reception to ensure we were happy with how things were going. The music and entertainment set the tone for an incredibly fun night that our guests are still raving about. We'd highly recommend Midwest Sound DJ Entertainment to any engaged couple looking for a talented, reliable DJ to keep the party going at their wedding!

We require a $195 deposit. This comes off the total price of the event.

Yes. We email a digital contract for you to review and digitally sign. A copy of your signed contract can always be found in the Client Portal.

Gratuity is not automatically included. Most couples do choose to include a gratuity for their DJ.

The day of your event is the last opportunity to pay your remaining balance. You can pay through the Client Portal or pay cash, check, or money order directly to the DJ.

Our DJs use JBL speakers, an American Audio mixing board and Numark NDX’s.

Yes, we use all digital music. Due to licensing laws, we cannot use any streaming services. We only use purchased music from iTunes Store and Amazon Music Store.

Our equipment will need to be under the cover of a tent or outbuilding in the event of inclement weather and we require access to power. Our system can run off one dedicated outlet or extension cord, or a 2000+ watt generator.

You can select from a variety of popular styles that we can provide. If you would like specific songs during this time we would ask that you provide it, this could be on USB, CD or using an mp3 player/device.

We will happily purchase music for your event at no additional charge to you. Our only limitations are that we have to acquire music legally and we cannot provide music from streaming services.
