“We chose the Doubletree by Hilton Niagara Falls for our wedding and we are SO HAPPY we did!
From start to finish, Rhea (and Melissa) and her team responded quickly to our questions and made us feel excited about our big day. They made it clear that whatever we needed or wanted—they were going to help make it happen. When researching venues, we felt than many “nickled and dimed” and did not look into helping us with our vision. At other venues, we were often told “no” for the out-of-the-box ideas. Other venues also had issues with storing decor and setting up—we were able to bring our decor early in the week to store and the team set it up for us!!! It made life SO much easier. My maid of honor showed Rhea and Sheila the vision and they followed through, while also including some extra decor to enhance our vision.
As a bride who had a lot on her plate, I looked for convenience. Not only was the decor situation so amazing, but staying at the hotel, the getting ready room, and other small details made planning and the big day so easy and smooth.
To me, the moment I knew wholeheartedly that we had made the right choice was when our videographer cancelled last minute right before our rehearsal—Rhea jumped in to help us stay positive and find a solution. I was stressed and on the verge of tears due to this situation and Rhea came up with solutions and spoke to me in the exact way I needed—empathetic, firm, and honest. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding we dreamed of. It is SO important to have a team who makes the bride and groom feel valued and understood. We never felt like we were talked down to or misunderstood. Instead, we were supported and encouraged. The team at the DoubleTree made wedding planning fun!
The venue itself felt high-end and elegant, but the pricing was refreshingly reasonable compared to other places we looked at. My guests were impressed with the food and drink options. The staff were so incredibly kind—I only had extremely positive interactions. I know I was concerned about the aesthetic of the venue originally, as it does seem like one big conference room. However, when it all came together with the uplighting, decor, and guests, it looked amazing! My guests also loved the patio, it was the perfect place to hang out and chat while other guests stayed inside to dance. We were also thrilled when they surprised us with treats waiting in our room. If you're planning a wedding at Niagara Falls, this venue delivers on quality without breaking the bank!”
