A native of Oregon, Megan Bamford found her calling to cuisine when she was just a tot. In July of 2013, she was named Pastry Chef on Team USA, a role in which she will always consider being one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. She believes that cooking with fresh ingredients and having a positive attitude are the most powerful tools in the kitchen. Most recently Megan traded her chef coat for a lab coat and studied Food Science and Micro Biology at Penn State. As of May 2017 Megan finally made her way back to west coast to open Bamford Bakeshop with her family.

We serve up hand-scooped frozen goodness from an attractive visual display cart, our Tuxedo ("Tux") service van, or our re-purposed 1981 fire rescue truck ("Que). Friendly staff scoop to your guests flavors of your choosing: Vegan Sorbets and Ice Creams in Bowls and Sugar Cones. Helen Bernhard Bakery was established in 1924, beginning, as many bakeries did in those early days, by baking cakes for neighbors and friends. At the time, the Bernhard family lived in the house next to the present shop. Mike and Kellie Snaadt have run the business since 2010.

I started baking cakes six years ago in Milton Massachusetts for a non-profit called "Birthday Cakes 4 Free" my family would bake and deliver cakes to children and seniors who were not able to afford a cake on their special day. During that time, it really allowed me to find my own style. I can now say with confidence, that my aesthetics is PNW inspired! I don't use fondant, and I try my hardest to incorporate the seasons most beautiful fresh organic flowers.

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.
