“Yanique is innovative, brilliant, sweet, and an absolute light in the room. The first conversation I had with this woman, I wanted to work with her. You speak with her, and you can hear her smile; you can tell how passionate she is about this work. In that first conversation, she listened to all the varying thoughts I tried to communicate, and she turned them into ideas. I had about five conversations with Yanique where I said, “I think where I’m struggling is - I don’t know what I want.” I thought I did! I said I liked wildflowers! I said I hated roses! I knew that I wanted a bouquet (and to still feel like a bride) but I wasn’t sure how that would hold up in transport. After consulting with Holly at Seascape Florals, she recommended going with a bouquet of silk flowers and greenery. Following that initial consultation, we corresponded several times leading up to my big day and she created multiple bouquets to make sure she gave me exactly what I was looking for. We were so impressed by her professionalism, kindness, and skill that when we decided to host a small reception it was a no-brainer to book Seascape Florals for that function as well. Even on short notice, Holly delivered! She captured my vision perfectly and was so detail-oriented, adding touches throughout the space that I would never have thought of. Choosing to go through with a wedding and reception during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic came with a lot of rules and they were constantly changing. From the first conversation we had, it felt like she “got” me, suggesting flowers, designs, and concepts better than I could possibly articulate myself. She was incredibly thoughtful putting together multiple proposals that fit our vision and our budget. The entire planning process couldn’t have been easier because of how sweet, communicative, and easy Ayla was to work with. Cut to the wedding day, and I was honestly speechless seeing her work come to life in our tent. Ayla is an ARTIST. She created a gorgeous 65 ft table runner for our head table that was so dreamy I still think about it. The bouquets were exactly what I was looking for - natural and simple but packed a stunning punch. Then there was the tent entrance installation, which was so beautiful on its own but also so thoughtfully designed to enhance the view and setting of our venue.
