Overall things were good. There were however a few disappointments that we encountered. First, there wasn't any power at the outdoor wedding venue; they had to run extension cords. Second was that people were allowed into the venue but the bar was not open and appetizers were not ready. Third, the room was very warm from the afternoon sun because the thermostat was in the hallway with a fireplace and the doors were closed. That was corrected by opening the doors but only after a long period of time. Fourth, there not enough appetizers. We as the wedding couple only got 1 of each selection (6 total) between the 2 of us and that was because they brought them to us in the bridal suite. We were told that people were taking them off the server's trays as the servers came out of the kitchen, but it seemed there wasn't enough food or staff because we were told by some guests that they didn't have any appetizers at all. Also, we were told that a guest asked a server for a glass of water, the server told the guest, "It's on the bar". Lastly, we ordered a Caesar Salad but we received an "Essence Salad". The menu's on the guests' plates stated "Essence Salad" but White Pines insisted it was a Caesar Salad...I've never had Caesar Salad with red onion. Aside from what I previously mentioned, the entrees were delicious and we did have a lot of fun. Bernadette was easy to work with and offered a lot of useful suggestions.

We couldn't have picked a more beautiful, open and perfect venue than the Factory on Barclay. We got married 5/13 and people are still messaging me about how stunning the venue was. Sarah was amazing every step of the way from letting us tour multiple times with different family members, owning set up of our day and tear down. We didn't have to worry about a thing besides having our day. The rest of the staff day-of was absolutely awesome as well. Alcohol is provided. Bartenders were awesome and dealt with the party atmosphere of our wedding really well. We had a little scheduling issue where, surprisingly, we were ahead of schedule and Sarah got all vendors to move things ahead 30 mins. You get so much for your money as well. The space itself is massive and makes the day flow really easily. We did everything on-site, (getting ready, pics, ceremony and reception) and it was the perfect space. Getting ready suites are huge and a big plus. Recommended vendors usually sway people in the opposite direction because you have a smaller list of caterers to chose from, but it's evident that the staff at the Factory and Sarah have taken the time to curate a list of vendors that make a lot of sense for all different budgets and different experiences. We wouldn't do a thing differently regarding our venue search. Truly was the most beautiful day. Will add pictures once we get our formal pics from our photographer!

I worked with LNF for over a year to plan my dream wedding. We knew we wanted to go a little unconventional from the standard type of venue and let me say it PAID OFF. From the planning perspective: I want to give all my kudos to Brianna from the events team for everything she did! She was in constant communication with me about everything from food selections to reception layout and was so kind throughout the entire process. She helped me feel empowered with the decisions we were making and helped with monthly touch bases to go over details to weekly once we got close to the wedding. She made sure I had everything I needed and helped make our vision come to life! From the venue/event perspective: Our guests are still raving about this wedding two weeks out. The family style entrees gave everyone more than enough food that was delicious and the bar staff was getting into the party with us as much as we were! Everyone was attended to in a timely manner and the entire staff played a huge role in making the night so welcoming and engaging. The layout worked perfectly for our group, too. The garden transformed into our dance floor that easily fit all of our guests together and the rooftop served as such a unique and beautiful setting for our ceremony. I truthfully don’t have enough positive things to say about the staff and the venue. Not to mention that the pricing for our event was all inclusive (bar, food, venue, DJ, decor, etc.) which made it super easy to keep track of everything and was also WAY more affordable than other venues within the area. Thank you, LNF, for the best experience I could’ve asked for going into my big day!

I absolutely loved my wedding at Elmcrest Banquets. Their team and staff were so lovely to work with. They had so many options for me to customize the dream wedding I was envisioning. They helped fill any gaps to make the venue completely transform. I would recommend Elmcrest to anyone looking for a venue in the Chicagoland area. On the first floor, there is room for up to 175 guests standing. This makes the 2,000-square-foot space ideal for the cocktail reception. The second floor features 7,000 square feet of space. 250 people seated or 200 people seated with a dance floor can fit in this event area. You can also take your celebrations outside on the spacious rooftop deck.

The Haight was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Lauren, our coordinator, was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and detail-oriented throughout the planning process, making it stress-free for us. On the big day itself, Lauren handled everything seamlessly behind the scenes - if any issues came up, we were blissfully unaware thanks to her proactive approach. The venue itself is unique, clean, and simply beautiful. From the charming exposed brick to the giant windows flooding the space with natural light, The Haight provided a warm, romantic backdrop for our nuptials. Combined with Lauren's coordination, their team delivered a flawless event beyond our wildest dreams. It was very challenging for us to find a wedding reception venue that fully met our cultural needs with outside catering capabilities and guest capacity. We searched all over Milwaukee and the options were quite limited. We decided to reach out to Harley Davidson and started working with Dave Larson (Event coordinator). We couldn't have gotten paired up with a better person. He took time out of his busy days to meet with us multiple times in getting everything right and fine tuning the details. Our wedding reception was more than we imagined. We can't thank Dave enough for all his hard work. We also wanted to thank Rohan who helped put everything together the day of, as well as the rest of the staff. We would recommend Harley Davidson downtown Milwaukee to anyone no matter how large or small the event. Thank you for the fantastic customer service!!! Had my wedding 10/12/24 at Bartlett Hills Golf Club and it was an absolute dream! The venue itself is beautiful. They give you the option for either indoor or outdoor ceremony spaces overlooking their lake. Outdoor ceremony space is limited to about 150 people but it was perfect for our wedding of about 125. You get access to multiple golf carts to explore the golf course for photos. Taking bridal party photos with all the autumn trees in the background made for awesome shots! There is a locked bridal suite for the ladies to get ready in or store your things for the day. However, its not the most spacious, so might be best to get ready elsewhere for parties bigger than 4 or 5 people. The reception area is open and spacious, with two bars. And diverse! They can close off areas for smaller groups, they can move the dance floor to your liking. They give you the option to customize SO MUCH. Their pricing is amazing for how all inclusive their packages are. The premium package (im not sure the exact name) offers way more than any other venue I visited or researched. And was far more affordable. It included an hour of passed hors doeuvres, an absolutely delicious dinner, open bar, all your linens, fresh flower centerpieces, an arch for your ceremony, even the cost of your cake!!! We got so many compliments on how delicious the dinner and the cake was. But what really sells this venue is Evan, the event coordinator. He is really the mastermind behind making your dream wedding a reailty. Most people say not to bank on a venue coordinator being like a real day of coordinator, but let me tell you, in the case of Evan, he is that and so much more. He is there to help every step of the way, offering advice and insight because the man clearly knows what hes doing. Also, him and his staff set up and break down ALL of your decorations. He is so helpful, friendly, and honestly just a cool guy. He even gave us the OK for our officiant/friend to do the stone cold steve austin beer smash for their reception entrance (we changed those plans, but still). Overall, I have zero negative things to say about this venue. My wedding was 110% everything I dreamed, in large part to Evan and the staff at Bartlett Hills GC. I would recommend a million times over.

Intimacy is hard to achieve in a venue and nowadays with the crushing oppression of minimalism, even more difficult to find. What I love about Lou Lou is that it has all of the necessary staples of a well run restaurant but none of the chaos. The decor is warm and welcoming, the tables are a pleasant lighter wood that invokes a bright memory of sitting in the kitchen of the cool aunt. Textured pieces of art and pottery grace the walls and delicate white curtains frame the front windows to give the diners privacy. I love that I can see the chefs working diligently behind the counter and that the flow of the space draws your eye down the line and to the cute little stage in the back. This could be used for a jazz trio, a sweetheart table or an emotional speech at a rehearsal dinner. Regardless, the space is unique and I am certain, will become as precious to the community as it is to me and my family.

We had our son and future daughter in law’s engagement party at Bixi. Jordan was amazing in organizing a tasting and making sure every detail was taken care of. The food was truly amazing! The event space is perfect to use as is or to turn into your own vision. All the staff working were professional and gracious to all our guests. But at the end of the day it’s about the food. I cannot tell you how much everyone enjoyed everything we served! If you are looking for a unique, fun and beautiful event space with the best food this is it!

Had the 5 hour lunch wedding package on 5/20/23. It was fabulous. Lisa was the wedding coordinator and offered the Emerald Room with high ceilings. Very light and airy. She set up everything beautifully. Lots of food. Cake was beautiful and delicious. Everything was perfect. The only thing that could have changed was cleanup started 15 minutes before event ended which caused some guests to leave slightly early. But overall a 10 out of 10. You will not be disappointed by selecting Villa Olivia. Also beautiful outdoor pictures at this facility.

The Stan Mansion was a beautiful venue to have a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Cera, the owner of the mansion will give you a list of vendors that work weddings at the mansion all the time together so you can trust that you are in good hands and that the vendors that you choose will know their space and know what they are doing. The bridal suite was extra fun to get ready in! It also gave you a nice space to take a quiet break, if needed. Cera and Kathy were welcomed us to come see the venue as many times as we needed. The mansion is beautiful and you will have a beautiful event there.

Starting from the first call we had with Amelia (Sales Manager in charge of their room blocks) last November while Jonathan (Wedding-Catering Sales Manager) was out of the office, we knew The Abbey was going to be an amazing venue to work with. Her vibrant personality could be felt over the phone, and made me feel like we’d known her for years. This rang true through every single phone call and email we had during our wedding planning, all the way through being onsite for our wedding week. Amelia is friendly, approachable, a great listener, accommodating, timely, and hospitable to name just a few. We genuinely felt like she cared about the success of our wedding, and the experience that our guests were going to have. She went as far as working with the reservations team to ensure we got a suite that was previously reserved when it opened up, customizing our wedding block to fit our guests’ needs, helping ensure guest welcome bags were distributed, and welcoming us for our stay with a gift basket note. We truly believe we would have ended up having our wedding elsewhere if I hadn’t tracked her down last November. Similar to Amelia - from the first time we connected with Jonathan to start planning our wedding, we knew we had something unique in our venue team, and felt confident we’d be in great hands throughout the process. Jonathan always responded to our frequent emails in an extremely timely manner – often right away even when we told him to wait until business hours – and it often felt like he was one step ahead of us. He was extremely helpful with providing his industry expertise, guiding our decision making based on previous experience with weddings / large events, and felt confident that he ultimately had our best interests in mind. He helped us incorporate unique components / details to our wedding that our guests are still talking about, and gave us the sweetest welcome package in our suite! (And recommended we book a great secluded suite!) Jonathan somehow was able to accommodate all of our requests in some way or another, and always made us feel like he was so personally invested. We never could have imagined working with someone so responsive, flexible, detail-oriented, and somehow as passionate about our wedding as we were. His organizational and coordination skills shined exceptionally throughout the last 10 months – even the day after the wedding he was helping us move things out of the ballroom and transferring flowers to brunch. He was truly there every step of the way. We have not been able to stop raving about both Jonathan and Amelia to anyone who asks, and can confidently say we don’t have any negative feedback to share about our experience. Our guests have been the same way and have all been positively commenting on their whole experience. Any challenges that came up throughout our process were always met with solutions, a clear path forward, and their team going above and beyond. Jonathan and Amelia were even there to see us out the Monday after our wedding as we departed, and made not only us but also our parents feel like family. Truly everyone from check-in, Greg at valet, and restaurant spa staff, to the catering events teams and management being open to our ever changing requests ( and keeping up with our large group size) – everyone was so accommodating to work with. We cannot say more positive things about the staff, venue, and our experience!

Where do I begin?! We had our ceremony at the Doubletree Hilton and wanted a space for our reception close to the hotel, but without spending an arm and a leg. We booked The Box for our wedding reception in June and everything went perfectly. We were looking for a venue that was affordable and not over priced, no food/beverage minimum, minimal setup, timeless and beautiful, and that could accommodate our guest list of 75. The Box checked alllll of these boxes. I love that we were able to arrange the space how we envisioned and choose our own caterer (we used BelAir Cantina). Jamie worked with us to select a bar package that was extremely reasonable and fit our budget. We felt zero pressure during our meetings and Jamie assured me her team would make sure the space looked lovely, and she was right! We saved money on decor by using The Box’s candles and some lamps they provide, and we brought bud vases with flowers in for table decor. They had all the tables set and ready to go for my personal assistants to set up the little details (bud vases, signage, card box, etc). Both Jamie and Jaime were a delight to work with and made sure we felt comfortable and happy. They were both very responsive and answered all of my questions. I felt like they truly cared about helping to make our wedding day successful and that meant so much to us. There seemed to be plenty of street parking and I know a few guests utilized the parking garage kitty corner across the street with no issues. 10/10 would recommend The Box for a wedding reception or any event for that matter. This space has so much potential and they can help bring your vision to life. I am so happy we chose The Box to celebrate our marriage with our favorite people!! Also downtown Milwaukee and the riverwalk are within walking distance and are PERFECT for photos, even in the rain.

Everything from start to finish was amazing with UClub! Leah and the staff were great and pleasant to work with! I would highly recommend The Fitzgerald! The venue is beautiful both inside and outside. We were really drawn to the beauty of the ivy on the outside of the building. The colors, the antique furniture, and the beautiful original details throughout the space photograph so well. We had 125 guests and it never felt crowded. The flow of the space was perfect. We had planned to get married outside on the terrace but the weather did not cooperate so we pulled it inside, and then the staff flipped the room for us during the cocktail hour. It did not feel like a “back up plan” to be inside, and it was so pretty. The cocktail hour space was great for mingling with guests and it’s so nice that there are 2 bars so guests aren’t waiting long for drinks. Then flowing back into the ballroom for dinner and drinks just worked out great. It was great to have the outside space and the cocktail area for guests to enjoy themselves if they didn’t want to be on the dance floor. We got ready in the upstairs spaces, which I would highly recommend! They are spacious and so convenient. We were required to use Milwaukee Airwaves as our DJ and All Occasions as our caterer, which took the stress of choosing those vendors off our plate. Both vendors were incredible! Truly can’t recommend this venue enough!

There isn't a more beautiful venue in Chicago, hands down. On top of that, the kindness and professionalism of our point-of-contact Natalie made it clear we made the right choice in booking Café Brauer for our November wedding. Natalie was incredibly thoughtful and responsive throughout our time working together, answering tons and tons of questions from us. The day of our wedding went so smoothly (seriously, it was perfect?!), and we know Natalie had a big hand in achieving that. If you're looking for a beautiful, bespoke venue with gorgeous views of the city that will awe both you and your guests, you've found it. And if you're looking for catering services, go with the in-house option: Tigerlily Events! The chefs were so accommodating of dietary restrictions (my husband is allergic to the major eight, and then some), and we received SO many compliments on the food.

The Hideout is a 100-year-old balloon-frame house, built in two days, still here a century later. Hammers pounding in nails faster than the city could tear it down. Built by workers at the end of the 19th Century, run by undocumented bootleggers and gin runners, running numbers, racing horses, making deals, and moving in the make.
