My husband and I had a reception here for all people that were unable to attend our wedding back home, and everything I asked Crystal for at Grand Gala was delivered without hesitation. My guests felt like they hadn’t missed a thing. The decorations were so beautiful (the cake table was my favorite) and the atmosphere was so chill and fun. Elegant Affairs venue was amazing. We submitted our ideas for decor and cakes. The outcome was more than we expected. The whole day was very smooth. We didn't have to worry about anything. The cake tasted just as amazing as the 1st tasting. The food was great, it was just lukewarm. My guest informed me that the bartender was rude. The pictures wasn't that great, some the lighting was off, some the lens was blurry, several the people wasn't in sync. The DJ was nice, he kept the guest dancing. Our overall experience was great. We appreciate Dione and everyone that made our day amazing.

We had our wedding at the Wimbish House in April of 2024 and it was the most spectacular day of our lives! The venue itself is so lovely and well located in the city (near plenty of activity of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment for guests within walking distance) and does not require a lot of work to make it beautiful (the ballroom and parlors are exquisite). Karin was our wedding coordinator and she made the entire process easy and stress-free. She helped us with everything and made sure nothing slipped by during the planning. The staff is all incredible and they have such great connections with other vendors (every vendor we hired said they already had such great memories of events they worked at Wimbish and I can see why!). You cannot go wrong booking this venue!

We rented the Piedmont Garden Tent for our wedding in the summer of 2021. To this day, our friends and family compliment the venue, the food, and everything from our day. We had rain in the morning and our PGT planner, Ashley, helped us come up with options to ensure we still had a lovely ceremony, although it didn’t happen outdoors as well had planned. Day of, they shifted all the florals from the ceremony during cocktail hour and made the place look even more stunning for the reception. The food options and bar were some of the best we’ve had at a wedding, ever! They ensured we had food for my husband and I in the suite and plates prepared while we greeted our guests. The team at the garden tent was truly phenomenal and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for letting us host our fairytale wedding!

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

Due to Covid, me and my husband had to postpone our big wedding plans but got to have an intimate ceremony and dinner with just family. It wound up being the most magical day/night! Working with the Swan house was such a smooth experience with fast communication and help during the planning process and day of. With such limited time to plan due to postponing our original wedding plans it all came together so nicely and perfect due to the super nice, helpful staff. I recommend the Watson center as a wedding and reception venue because not only is a great location but it is next to a beautiful lake with nice outdoor feels. Our wedding pictures came out beautiful in front of the lake.The Watson center staff was very accommodating as well any hiccups that happen they fixed immediately. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to the couple as well as the vendors. The ROOF also has an amazing view and was super fun to walk through and take photos. Absolutely fell in love with this space! It is so large and is a pretty canvas to decorate to your taste with florals etc or can leave alone and still be beautiful. I especially loved how big it was so we didn’t need to flip any rooms. Audrey was great and easy to communicate with on questions with me and the vendors. The day of staff was super on top of everything and great to work with. We used the onsite catering which was so delicious!

We absolutely LOVED our wedding experience with the Trolley Barn. It had been recommended to us by friends and we toured it in January 2024. It was on a rainy day, but we still fell in love with the venue. We booked shortly after for our March 2025 wedding. Julie was a great help nailing down details and helping recommend other vendors. We had our rehearsal the day before the wedding and were able to drop off all our alcohol, decor, and cakes ahead of our wedding. The actual wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. The outside garden and front area made a great setting to take pictures before the ceremony. We then held our ceremony and cocktail hour in the courtyard. Everything was starting to bloom for spring and looked wonderful. Then, we moved inside for the reception. The space perfectly accommodated our 150 guests - we had a head table surrounded by round tables and had a couple high boy tables and a photo booth upstairs. We then picked up any remaining decor and alcohol the next day. Julie was such a pleasure to work with through the whole experience. We love The Trolley Barn! It’s a must-book venue for anyone wanting to have a wedding in Atlanta.

We were one of the many couples who had our plans shifted due to COVID-19. Our original date was in October 2020, but due to multiple changes, my husband and I opted to downsize to a mini ceremony and family dinner. We planned to have a one year anniversary party to include the loved ones we couldn't during 2020. After so much stress in the original planning, we were overjoyed to find out that we were chosen as the couple to receive The Dottie's grand opening anniversary party. From the first phone call with Krista and Kingslea at The Dottie, I knew we had picked the right planning team for our belated reception! Even with it being a giveaway, I never once felt like we were a secondary client. Brides, you know it's a big risk to choose someone as your wedding planner, so let me reassure you, this is THE TEAM for you. Originally I thought could do it all myself, but I didn't know how much I needed a planner until I had a planner. Each step of the way, their team coordinated everything with our vendors so we could actually just be excited about the event. Our planner was attentive to special family dynamics and made our day-of event so much easier. I had full confidence that once I told her something, it would be handled with excellence. I can confidently say they are worth the investment! As for the venue, it is the best wedding venue I've seen. Having been in multiple weddings, including my own (before our anniversary party here), I know that the details matter. The culture of hospitality radiates from the structure of the venue itself to the attitude of the team members. I felt so welcomed and like they thought ahead about how to maximize our experience. Getting ready: The bride and groom suites are tailored for the needs of each group. For the bridal party they have a suite with: 1) lots of mirrors with natural daylight for making sure you feel 100% as you get ready; 2) a lounge with a mini kitchen (ex: perfect for a charcuterie station) for enjoying the down time; 3) a private bathroom that's just for the bride/bridal party including a shower. The suite was full of thoughtful details like an emergency sewing kit that saved us when we had a dress mishap 5 minutes before pictures. For the groom's suite they have a space with: 1) a lounge with large flatscreen TV for catching whichever big game is on during down time; 2) a mini kitchen for the groom's favorite snacks; 3) private bathroom (also with shower) just for the groom's party. There is an additional room where family can have their own space while getting ready or in down time between events. The big event: The main room is beautiful and a perfect blank canvas for your dream day! It holds up to 500 people and has very tall ceilings (over two stories tall). With our 125 guests, we felt very spaced out. The external walls have huge garage doors that can open for fresh air circulation (great for an event during any time, especially a hot GA summer day or a pandemic). The space is versatile and could easily be used for a ceremony and rearranged for the reception. The outdoor patio surrounding the space was great for pretty photos. We opted to have a live band which made it the ultimate fun party space with loved ones. All in all, I’d give 10/10 for this venue and their all star team. I will definitely look for ways to partner with them again in the future!

After touring many venues, I left all of them with a "this isn't the place" feeling, until I toured Murphy Lane. Meeting with Kara and Hank and touring the venue, I knew that day, this was the place. Talk about southern hospitality, Hank and Kara are the true definition of those words. Their team of preferred vendors are the best and if I wanted something to add to the wedding day they had a phenomenal vendor to recommend. When people ask me if I would change anything about my wedding looking back, I honestly wouldn't. It truly was a perfect day and it all goes back to Kara and Hank and the amazing dream team of vendors. The day went by so fast, I want to do it all over again! :)

I can't say enough how beautiful this venue is. Lela's Place is a spacious, the landscaping is fabulous and always evolving, and the venue host, Lela, is a DELIGHT to work with. She is so sweet and thoughtful. We booked our wedding of about 85 people more than a year in advanced and she communicated regularly to ensure we got exactly what wanted on the day of. We also chose Lela to be our day of coordinator and she did a fabulous job, and that was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. She coordinated with the vendors, set up the tables, and ensured the day went smoothly. We did not have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding and no issues arose.
