“Our wedding was amazing at Eaglewood Resort & Spa! The service was unbelievable, the food was fabulous, and the whole day was seamless with Robb Rybicki leading the way. We planned to have our ceremony outside in the beautiful golf course, but God had other plans and it stormed. It was actually pretty cool. Robb quickly moved our ceremony into the ballroom, which was gorgeous! The whole venue is gorgeous and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! All of our guests raved about the truffled gnocchi, filet mignon, salmon and pork chop! The wine was very good too!”

The building was erected by John Quincy Adams (a distant relative of the Adams presidents) in 1891 to serve as a library and community center for Wheaton in memory of his late wife, Marilla Phipps Adams. In 1967, the building opened as the DuPage County Historical Museum under the operation of the County of DuPage and DuPage County Historical Society. Today, the Museum is operated as a facility of the Wheaton Park District and owned by the County of DuPage. It is the only institution dedicated to the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of materials which document the history of DuPage County.
