“As a local photographer, I adore this space! There are so many photo opportunities just within the building itself which can be SO helpful in creating great portraits. The space doesn't feel like anything else in the area. Walking through the doors, you feel like you're in a building that has been around forever but being brand new, everything is so polished and perfect. The owners have been in the wedding industry for years and knew how to build the space for the perfect wedding day flow for guests. An overall awesome venue with great people running it.”

The building was erected by John Quincy Adams (a distant relative of the Adams presidents) in 1891 to serve as a library and community center for Wheaton in memory of his late wife, Marilla Phipps Adams. In 1967, the building opened as the DuPage County Historical Museum under the operation of the County of DuPage and DuPage County Historical Society. Today, the Museum is operated as a facility of the Wheaton Park District and owned by the County of DuPage. It is the only institution dedicated to the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of materials which document the history of DuPage County.
