Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. Pine Knob Mansion is situated on an elegant estate in the woodlands of Clarkston, Michigan. Unique touches include stone walls hung with swords and shields, lavish chandeliers and carved wood paneling. The Mansion’s maximum capacity is 150 guests. Built in 1927, this chic building has a more contemporary style. It has a granite-topped bar, both white and dark wood columns and crystal chandeliers. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view of the golf course. The Carriage House is our larger venue hosting up to 280 guests with it's own covered outdoor pavilion perfect for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or outdoor dancing.

Christmas trees for your home is not our only specialty at Matthes Tree Farm. We also have a rustic yet elegant barn venue on our property that is perfect for weddings ceremonies, receptions, and other celebrations. Our venue, Four Timbers Barn, features natural wood finishes, open space, cozy seating areas, and charming décor, making it a picture-perfect setting for your wedding day. Whether you’re looking for a country-chic wedding or a more upscale affair, our elegant barn venue in Southeast Michigan is the perfect choice.

Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those.
