“Julie is great. I first met her when she did my high school senior pictures and was impressed by how they turned out. My then-fiance and I asked if she would come shoot our wedding near Cinci (quite a drive for her) and she happily agreed. She was super sweet throughout the entire process. She did a complementary engagement shoot a few months before the wedding and used the opportunity to get to know both of us. I've never known a photographer to put actual effort into knowing their clients, until I met her. She definitely makes her clients feel uniquely cared for. Our wedding pictures turned out wonderfully. They are very colorful and bright, but not in a way that feels heavily edited or artificial. The pictures feel true to how my wife and I remember that day. The prints and books we ordered through her also turned out great. Overall, we cannot recommend Julie enough. Would rate six stars if we could.”

“We always ranked the music as the number one priority for our wedding, and we’re so glad we entrusted David Rothstein Band to bring our party to life. Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From the first note to the final encore, we were BLOWN AWAY with the talent and energy that the band brought. We had a few special requests for the night - from a unique arrangement for our ceremony processional to a mashup of New York songs during the reception - and David’s team was beyond accommodating. We had dancing for 3 hours straight and not once did anyone leave the floor - the band was able to feel the energy in the room and chose the right song for the moment. I stumbled across the ingoing setlist after the party and was actually surprised to see that the band didn’t even stick to the songs they had picked - a sign that they adjusted based on what the crowd was loving. It’s been nearly a month since the big day and people keep telling us how amazing the music was, and we can’t stop watching the many videos David took from the night, reliving the magic that his band created. “My husband and I had the pleasure of having Emelie shoot the video for our wedding in April 2020. When we chose Emelie we had planned a large extravagant wedding at our venue with 250+ people. With the pandemic hitting our country just the month before our big day we were stuck with a ton of options and not really knowing what to do. We decided to go through with our wedding plans on our original day but we were only allowed to have 10 people there- including ourselves. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that Emelie would be one of those 10 people no matter what, and I have never regretted that decision. Emelie captured our day and our love perfectly. I think my favorite thing about her is that she is so quiet that you barely realize she is there but the creative juices are flowing through her and that really shows in all of her videos. My favorite thing to do (probably once a week) is watch our video and cry many happy tears. I love the way she tells all of her couples love stories, but especially ours. My best advice is if you’re thinking about video but don’t know how to fit it in your budget- FIND A WAY! Save all the pennies and throw them toward Emelie. You will never regret it.”
