As a wedding photographer, I don’t just show up on your wedding day. I come alongside you so that your wedding photography journey is easy as possible. Putting people at ease and using locations wisely (aka: creating beautiful photos from not-so-beautiful places) is my jam!

I come alongside you on your wedding planning journey. Giving you vendor referrals, engagement sessions, and wedding planning advice, and of course, guiding you through "poses" that let your love shine through.

    We were initially impressed with Julie’s portfolio online and booked her based on her photographs alone, but we were even more impressed when she offered to travel to us for engagement photos. We both had very little free time and it was a huge help! The engagement photos turned out lovely and we appreciated her flexibility on the location. For the wedding, Julie and her assistant showed up promptly and took beautiful photographs of the wedding details and made sure to capture all of the traditional “special moments” and then some, including numerous family portraits and candid photos of wedding guests. Overall, we are incredibly happy with the wedding photographs and highly recommend Julie with Simply Seeking Photography. Thanks, Julie!

    Julie is great. I first met her when she did my high school senior pictures and was impressed by how they turned out. My then-fiance and I asked if she would come shoot our wedding near Cinci (quite a drive for her) and she happily agreed. She was super sweet throughout the entire process. She did a complementary engagement shoot a few months before the wedding and used the opportunity to get to know both of us. I've never known a photographer to put actual effort into knowing their clients, until I met her. She definitely makes her clients feel uniquely cared for. Our wedding pictures turned out wonderfully. They are very colorful and bright, but not in a way that feels heavily edited or artificial. The pictures feel true to how my wife and I remember that day. The prints and books we ordered through her also turned out great. Overall, we cannot recommend Julie enough. Would rate six stars if we could.
