Drawing inspiration from films, photojournalism, and fine art— my work is best described as cinematic and timeless. From photographing small to large weddings, intimate elopements, to covering the Tony Awards— I've learned that every wedding & event is important and unique. My approach as a photographer is to not only create images that feel honest and interesting, but to document a story— while subtly being in the background. Capturing moments you were in the middle of, and moments that you probably never even saw— so that one day when you look back on these images years from now, you'll be reminded of what that day was.

My ultimate goal is to capture your memories as timelessly, artistically, and organically as possible. Both intentional and creative, I shoot a combination of digital and film. I found my way behind the camera after years of art directing in the fashion industry in NYC. I always loved photography as it captures a moment in time, frozen forever. Taking my knowledge & experience from my fashion days, mixing it with my love for romance, love & art I made the leap to weddings. I photograph film in which I believe that is has a romantic dreamy elegance that only film can capture. I’m based in Honolulu,Hawaii, and I love to travel. Exploring the world to learn about new cultures, meet new people, get lost in a museum and drive the countrysides taking in the sublime sceneries around brings me joy.

I've been in love with the art of photography for as long as I can remember, and I'm truly blessed to be able to pursue my passion every day. Growing up all over the world (Sweden, India, and Denmark to name a few!), my love of photography grew from my desire to capture the places and people I wanted to remember the most. My wife Nicole and I love to travel and are huge foodies. We have a dog and enjoy finding new hikes to take him on as much as we can. We are very family oriented and enjoy having game night with friends whenever we can :)

I did not not grow up with a camera in my hand knowing I wanted to be a photographer. I started with photography by photographing Punk/Hardcore bands but eventually stopped photographing those shows because I didn't want my camera gear to get broken by someone stagediving. Being apart of that music scene help me cultivate friendships with people all over the world, and gave me lots of travel opportunities. Those experiences carried over into weddings helping me understand real documentary style moments and being comfortable surrounded by new people.
