Jamie Corbman Photography
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves West Warwick, RI

My introduction to photography came when I was five years old, and my parents bought me a plastic Fischer-Price 110 camera. I dragged it everywhere. I moved on from taking pictures of the family dog to photojournalism for the school newspaper. In high school, I learned classical darkroom technique. I have earned a Bachelor's of the Arts from the George Washington University, a Master's of the Arts from the University of East Anglia in the UK, and I further studied photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. My current approach to wedding photography builds upon my background in fashion photography and photojournalism.

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

While wedding planning, I had the hopes of doing my own flowers. When it became time to plan for it, I was so overwhelmed and knew I needed to pivot. I am so grateful I found Something Borrowed Blooms! They were beautiful and so many people complimented my on the florals -- everyone thought they were real flowers! 10/10 recommend this for anyone's big day!

Our wedding was perfect for many reasons but Jeff went above and beyond for our event as our DJ. We didn’t give much direction as far as songs but Jeff was so intuitive to our crowd that every song made every guest get up out of their seat. Jeff is a pro and the compliments are still being received on the music for the event. Jeff was patient with the requests that came consecutively his way from our guests and he mixed those in seamlessly with the existing set. We could not be happier with the service and Jeff’s commitment to professionalism is second to none. Book Mystic River Entertainment for your next event, we are so glad we did.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

  • Florist
  • Serves West Warwick, RI

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

We had a tropical themed wedding and used Flower Moxie for tropical flowers and greenery: bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, ceremony arch flowers. I wish there were more tropical related videos on their DIY Academy, but I did love working with my assigned florist and the help desk was quick in their response. For those who are getting married at the same location that the flowers are being delivered (my parents' home), I wish we would have done all of the floral arrangements the day before instead of 2 days before. And our spray roses came a day later and were a little sad looking. But overall, we were very happy with the service and highly recommend to others!
