The Yellow House is a historic farmhouse built in 1857 that sits on 120 acres of farmland. The house is a regional favorite when our field of sunflowers blooms in late August and early September. Guests can utilize the interior of the farmhouse as well as the expansive grounds.

Goodell Gardens & Homestead is a botanical garden and arboretum located in beautiful Edinboro, Pennsylvania. We offer a full schedule of educational and cultural events in addition to our private rentals on select dates. We are now accepting reservations for your 2023 & 2024 celebrations! We are currently scheduling tours on Weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Place has wonderful memories waiting for you. Daytime Ceremony Only: We offer a ceremony only option at our Butterfly Garden or Rhododendron Garden. An outdoor ceremony only can be scheduled at 10:30am, 1 pm, or 4 pm Tuesday-Saturday, or at 1pm on Sunday. Ceremony only rental includes a two hour rental, an indoor rain location, 45 minute rehearsal, ceremony chairs, time for photos on the grounds, guest parking and admission- as well as staff to assist in the coordination of the ceremony. Evening Reception and Ceremony: Receptions at the Holden Arboretum are held after the arboretum closes to the public and can start as early as 6pm and end as late as 11:00 pm.
