Welcome to The Lakeside Lodge, central Maine’s premier waterfront venue on the shores of Messalonskee Lake. Our historic property is family owned and operated dating back eight generations. Our picturesque venue is perfect for any style – from a casual afternoon barbeque to an elegant evening wedding (and everything in between). The classic romance of a lakeside wedding is unforgettable. The grand cedar lodge can accommodate up to 120 guests and is just steps away from the water’s edge with an expansive lawn offering plenty of room for an outdoor ceremony. The lodge is a blend of rustic and sophistication with cathedral ceilings and over-sized windows facing the lake offering spectacular views. This rural and private setting is conveniently located, just minutes to hotels and amenities. Our wedding package is designed to allow our guests the freedom and time to have a stress free wedding experience.

The Barn was originally built in the year 1830 in Oxford, Maine, and used to be a dairy farm and apple orchard owned by the Pratt family. In 2015, it was transformed into an idyllic wedding & special event venue. The 1830 Wedding Barn is a classic, New England gem set back off of Route 26, surrounded by Maine farmland. Inside of the barn you will see impressive hand hewn beams, original wooden floors and walls, and repurposed original antiques like the hanging apple orchard ladders, hay-claw chandelier, and the Hebron Academy milk cooler. The barn’s historic quality creates a unique experience for guests to celebrate any event. Outside of the barn you will see rolling hills, fields stretching to the edge of the woods, trees from the original apple orchard (which we still bake pies from!), and sunsets fading to the western side of the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy and explore the outside areas of the existing apple orchard and surrounding grounds.

Meet Beech Hill Barn! Located 1 hour north of Portland and nestled on a hilltop surrounded by rolling fields and forests with views for miles. Beech Hill Barn is a place where you can escape and surround yourself with nature, yet still hold your event in an upscale, modern timber-frame barn. The numerous barn doors help bring the outside in with a view of the wildflower filled fields, woodland, rolling hills and open sky. The estate includes two timber-frame barns and three lodging options. The Modern Barnhouse (sleeps 16) and The Loft (sleeps 2) are right next to the Barn, the 1832 Farmhouse (sleeps 10) is less than a minute from the barn. The Greenwood Manor Inn is a gorgeous, 150 year old estate tucked away in the heart of Harrison in the Lakes Region. The venue sits on 25 acres of quiet, pristine land, just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Long Lake. Surrounded by nature, hiking trails, stunning gardens, and fresh air, our inn is the perfect setting for your special day. Complete with nine guest rooms, we can accommodate up to 22 guests to stay the night. We also offer bar service, ample parking for up to 250 guests, a full breakfast for Inn guests, as well as rehearsal dinner space under our covered porch with heating if necessary, post wedding brunches, welcome cocktail party space, an on site baker, use of our day of coordinator, in house massages, private yoga on the lawn for the morning of your big day, as well as our fire pit, various lawn games, and so much more!

Owners Murray and Linda Watson bring their organization skills and farm knowledge to bear on creating memorable weddings, ceremonies, and receptions on breathtaking land with farm roots.
