Woodfords Club is an historic venue in Portland, Maine. Incorporated as a social club in 1913, the charm of this era has been maintained through recent restoration efforts as is seen in the lobby room you step into upon entering the Club. A Banquet Hall with stage area provides ample room to meet the needs of any occasion. Smaller rooms and a commercial kitchen add to the opportunities for your event. Ample on-site parking is available for your use.

The first Common Man Restaurant opened in Ashland, NH in 1971. In the summer of ’72, we catered our first uncommon event. Foster’s Clambakes and Catering is an event venue and full-service catering company located in York Harbor, Maine. Foster’s is famous for its clambakes, lobster, Maine cuisine and personal service. They offer indoor and outdoor receptions, rehearsal dinners and ceremonies at their venue. They are also partnered with several seacoast event venues and cater throughout New England. Foster’s main function space which can host 75-300 guests, is a rustic space with stone fireplaces, surrounded by windows with access to outdoor cocktail space lit by bistro lighting with a fire pit. There is a grassy outdoor ceremony or reception space that can hold ceremonies of all sizes or tented events for up to 400 guests. It sits beside a picturesque pond and includes large wooden ceremony arbor and bench seating. For more intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners the York Room can host 30-70 guests and has a modern barn style with opening to outdoor cocktail space with bistro lighting and fire pit.
