We’ve been fortunate to DJ at company parties, live concerts, private house parties, and more. But weddings are particularly dear to us. I've DJed hundreds of parties since the mid 90s. I started DJing when I was 13-years old with my dad. He taught me the tricks of the trade. Music and people are my passion — I would love to help you have the best party as possible!

Hi, My name is Robert. But most people call me DJ Prime. One thing you should know about me is I love weddings. Big weddings, small weddings, outdoor ceremonies in gracious gardens, intimate funky venues, you name it, I've done them all. Mariachi Hidalgo was founded in 2017 and is led by our Musical Director Hernan Hidalgo Treviño who is a first-generation musician within his family. At the age of 21, Hernan is New York City’s, as well as the East Coast’s, 1st ever “Youngest Musical Director of a Mariachi Band”. Hernan graduated from the CUNY of Hunter College as a Music and History major to better prepare himself for both the musical and culture of mariachi. Within the first 2 years, Mariachi Hidalgo has performed in some of New York's exclusive places. Hernan's main goal is to inspire and motivate other youths to continue this musical tradition of mariachi.
