Hey y’all! My name's Gabriella, I love sunshine and I'm a documentary-style wedding & engagement photographer based in Philadelphia. I'm a hopeless romantic and I adore documenting love stories with my camera in a beautiful & compelling way. Basically, I’m a down-to-earth gal from Pennsylvania who got hooked on the travel bug at college in Georgia (go dawgs!!), has a passion for storytelling and absolutely loves love. Running, biking and chasing sunsets are my favorite pastimes. I’m team coffee AND team tea. I dream real big and I’m full of ambition. Oh, and I'm not just you wedding photographer ... I'm your new friend :)

Awarded Best of Zola
How do we even begin to say how amazing she was? As soon as we saw that Gabriella described her personality as the color yellow, we knew she was the one for us, and she proved time and time again that we were right. From our first zoom call to our finished gallery, she was a joy to work with. She made everything so easy, from questionnaires to our engagement shoot. She made our wedding day feel effortless. We were both worried about being awkward in front of a camera, but she gave lots of wonderful prompts and little games that were easy and fun for us to do, and left us with stunning pictures we were in absolute awe of. Gabriella does everything with such a personalized touch, which really made us feel special. On your big day, she is not just your photographer, she is your biggest fan and the best hype girl you could hope for, and she was willing to help with any aspect of your day, not just pictures. Need a hairpin tucked? Gabriella's got you. Looking for a guest? She is on it! Did you miss the milkshake shots as they went by? Gabby's got your back! From start to finish, Gabriella and her team really were more than we could have ever imagined. Big shoutout to Connie and Sam! Thank you for everything 3

Symula Media Group

With over 20+ years of photography experience, capturing life's smallest and biggest moments has been a passion of mine. Being able to encapsulate these candid moments is such a privilege; one that we don't take lightly!

Symula Media Group was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding photography. Communication was extremely fluid - Jenn called us immediately to chat and ensure we were on the same page. Any vision we had, she met with amazing results. Despite our tight budget and short timeline, Jenn and her assistant blended seamlessly into the day, capturing beautiful candid moments that we'll cherish forever. Jenn's attention to detail was incredible - she even helped conceal our sunburns in the photos so you'd never know! We felt like we were working with a friend rather than a vendor, and the quality of Symula Media Group's work speaks for itself. Highly recommend them for any couple looking for genuine, talented photographers who will make your wedding day feel easy and stress-free.

Hi, I'm Kristen and I'm so excited you are here! I've been a wedding photographer for 17 years with hundreds of weddings under my belt. Diversity and inclusivity are very important to me both personally and professionally, so no matter who you are I want to document your love story.

Awarded Best of Zola
I could not more highly recommend Kristen! Kristen was one of the very first vendors that I booked for my August 2024 wedding and I could not be more happy in that decision. Kristen's style is timeless and true to color. She focuses on capturing the day as it happens rather than focusing only on super posed shots- which I love! Kristen's communication is clear, prompt, and honest- I so appreciated her insight through the wedding planning process and especially in developing the timeline. We also received far more sneak peeks than we expected and I'm still shocked with how quickly we received our full gallery! Kristen, we are so happy you were there to capture our day!

Welcome to Arie T. Photography, a black queer woman-owned and operated traveling portrait and wedding photography service based out of the Georgia and Michigan! Intimate wedding photographer originally from the coast of VA, but now based in the North Georgia Mountains & love finding new adventures while exploring the outdoors. When I am not hidden behind my camera, you can find me hiking up a new mountain with my fur babies, eating tacos, or spending quality time with my little family. I started out capturing families, then realized that my heart is completely drawn to love & the bond that two people share. I describe my photography as bold, intimate & sincere. I enjoy capturing the small, yet sometimes unseen gestures & reactions as well as the pure romance between two people on their wedding day.

Abigail Saalfrank Photography

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

Awarded Best of Zola
Abby wasn’t able to travel to my wedding but she sent her assistants and she edited the photos. It went absolutely perfect. The photos were beautiful and I got so many meaningful photos with my family and his family that I wouldn’t have thought to get. I sent her draft of a timeline and the photographers printed it out and had it to make sure the photos I wanted got done. They were absolutely amazing. Thank you so much to Abby and her team.

Hi! I'm Sarah. Congratulations on taking the next step in your wedding planning! Choosing to work with me earns you more than just a photographer; you get a hype-girl, a dress fluffer, a confidant and a new best friend. Since we are now future besties, here's what you should know about me: My love for portraiture stems from the joy it brings me to make others feel beautiful. Few things make me feel as giddy as photographing weddings, engagements & proposals, and I can't wait to capture the next stage of your love story. My strengths lie in natural lighting, illuminating colors, and catching the candid moments that make you, you.

Awarded Best of Zola
There is not enough good things we can say about Sarah! From day 1, she had great communication before the proposal while deciding the perfect location and how we would meet up with her. She executed flawlessly and I never saw her until the ring was on my finger even though she followed us for a bit before the big moment. She made us feel so comfortable for the photoshoot after and was willing to go to a few different spots with us all while carrying all of our stuff so it wouldn’t be in our pockets for the pictures. We received the sneak peeks the next day and were blown away with how well they turned out, she nailed it!! She got the big “I do” moment which was most important and then captured so many other sweet moments right before and after that I will forever be so grateful we can relive because of her photos. The best thing about her is that you can feel the joy coming out of the screen when you look through her galleries. So many people have raved over how well our engagement photos turned out. Everyone should book Sarah, she is so great at what she does!!

Leah Flores Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Washington, DC for additional fees

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, two dogs, and four cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I turn 9 this year 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
Leah photographed our wedding at my family's property in Napa Valley, June 2024. Leah took lots of time to scope out the location and seemed to be absolutely *everywhere* during the wedding, at all the right moments. I didn't have to call her over once, because she was already there. She captured the emotions of the day, the little moments, the big moments, and made our day look like the fairytale wedding that it felt like. Once we got the photo gallery back (so quickly!) we relived the day all over again. We were tearing up and laughing at all the photos. I felt like I was looking at photos from a Brides magazine, but it was me! Another thing I'll mention is that Leah gives direction in a kind, calm and encouraging way. My husband is not too confident in photos and he felt SO comfortable posing with her there, and loves his photos too! I felt like she could guide me into more flattering poses when I felt uncertain about my angles. I love Leah and her work and would recommend her to anyone!

Awarded Best of Zola
Christine is incredible. From the first planning call through the last dance, she was professional, relaxed, and completely on top of everything. She is an absolute joy to work with. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and perfectly captured our wedding's aesthetic and special traditions. And, above all, her work is tremendous and exceeded our extremely high expectations. She knows exactly how to get the right shot in the right light and her work reflects the love we felt on our wedding day, not just between the two of us but amongst our friends and families as well. She and her second shooter, Gretchen, captured some unbelievable shots of our beachfront sunset ceremony and even negotiated to get us into the lighthouse tower at our venue for an incredible, memorable photo shoot. As you can see from looking through her portfolio, she brings her photojournalist's point-of-view to her work, which goes far beyond the typical staged wedding photos--she has an artist's eye for beautiful, candid moments. If you're reading this, you need not look further for a photographer--you'll be lucky if she's available to capture the essence of your wedding or special event. Our friends and family are already cooing over our gorgeous album and we can't wait to treasure these captures for decades and decades to come.

Captured Couture, LLC

5.0

  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,195
  • Serves Washington, DC for additional fees

So there’s no “I” in team right?! While Captured Couture is the product of years of hard work that I built from the ground up. I have an amazing team because sometimes takes more than just me. For larger events or on occasions when I am already booked one of my team members will gladly assist with your event. We’ve covered hundreds of weddings together, and have refined our editing style and way of shooting to be completely consistent. You won’t be able to tell the difference. Pinky promise! No matter where you’re planning from when it clicks, it clicks.

My (now) husband and I chose to hire Jennifer from Captured Couture as our photographer for our wedding. We were both blown away by her images posted on her website and Instagram page and after having a phone interview we were convinced she was the one for us. Jennifer was communicative and so easy to work with. We were able to get a free engagement session with the purchase of our package which was awesome because we were able to meet her in person before our actual wedding. The day of the wedding there were a few minor hiccups as our wedding was the same day as the Detroit Pride fest, and we weren’t sure some of our desired locations would be accessible. Without a moment of hesitation Jennifer, who knows the city of Detroit incredibly well, was able to secure a location for our first look and our wedding party photos which turned out to be perfect. Jennifer and her assistant LeAnn captured every part of our wedding with some much care and attention to detail. Our photos are spectacular and we are so thankful for our photography team. Both my husband and I would definitely recommend Captured Couture to anyone looking for wedding photography.
