From the moment we engaged Comeketo Brazilian SteakHouse to cater my daughter's wedding, we knew we were in for a treat, but the reality far surpassed our grandest expectations. The dedication and passion that Bibi and Rodrigo poured into the event's culinary experience were nothing short of spectacular, transforming a special day into an unforgettable gastronomic celebration. As guests arrived at the venue, they were immediately enveloped in the enticing aromas that wafted from Comeketo's setup – a promising prelude to the feast that awaited. The display was a visual masterpiece, creating an ambiance that was both elegant and warmly inviting – a testament to the team's attention to detail and their desire to curate not just a meal, but an experience. When it came to the food, each bite was a revelation. I hired Chef Ellen for a dinner party that I was hosting for 20 people, and she absolutely EXCEEDED my expectations. From our first call about planning the event, to the event itself, Chef Ellen was fantastic. She has such an impressive rolodex of appetizers and meals she can prepare, and she worked with me to customize a perfect menu for the evening. We chose 5 hors d'oeuvres, and she surprised me on the night with two additional ones on top of the five we'd chosen! Every single appetizer was delicious. From there, we did a sit down dinner that included a soup (amazing butternut squash), salad (the best salad my guests have ever had - who knew a salad could be that life changing!), and then guests had a choice of filet mignon or arctic char for their main course. Both main courses were so thoughtfully prepared, perfectly cooked, and the presentation for everything was stunning. On top of that, there was a mini pizza delivery crisis for my 5 and 7 year old nephews who were over, and Chef Ellen graciously offered to make pasta for them -- all while preparing a 20-person dinner. What more could you ask for?! After dinner, she also surprised me with mini passed desserts :) Chef Ellen also had brought a server with her, who was professional, charismatic and on top of everything to ensure the night went smoothly. To sum it up, Chef Ellen helped make the night so special, and I was thrilled with all of her hard work. If you're looking for delicious food, beautiful presentation, great service, and a hell of a personality, don't hesitate to book Chef Ellen. I am so glad I found her and am already looking forward to having her back for another event!

Jill nailed it! We were connected to Jillicious by our wedding planner (Modern Rebel-also recommended!), and felt drawn to the company values and ethos. After the tasting, we were sold! Jill put together a wonderful progressive cocktail menu, was flexible to our guest’s needs, and the food was delicious. The menu was a super fun mix of all different types of food with a real New York and celebratory vibe (Asian noodles served in mini Chinese take out containers, gorgeous pink gazpacho shooters, coffee in classic NYC cups, chicken and waffles!). During planning, Jill collaborated wonderfully with our wedding planner and was very active in making our (very bright!) design vision come true. At the wedding, our guests commented that they loved the food and the progressive cocktail style meant we had a rocking party all night long. Jill also skillfully managed our bar, collaborated with Roebling Liquor for purchasing, and helped us design signature cocktails-which were a big hit! Mel and her team bring excellent service, delicious cuisine, and a fantastic creative eye to every event they execute. As a photographer, I work with many event planners and caterers. Mel has my highest recommendation for any wedding or hosted event. From the moment she and I first connected, I found Mel to be extremely responsive and easy to contact. She provided clear instructions and information leading up to the event so my assistant and I would know exactly what to expect. Mel worked with the grooms to create a unique, outstanding menu with elements involving both their preferences and their cultural backgrounds. When we arrived at the wedding, we were completely wow’d by what Mel had created! She displayed the dishes with such finesse. It was all so well-considered and beautifully organized. Mel’s team was easy to work with all night long and made sure we had everything we needed. I live in Houston so had to plan a San Diego rehearsal dinner long distance, which took a good bit of faith, especially throughout months of uncertainty of whether the event could even take place because of COVID. Wild Thyme was on a list of several caterers approved by my venue, The Thursday Club; I selected only three for quotes. I chose Wild Thyme based on its website, menus, and the fact that Gina Eliason, Director of Sales, was easy to work with, listening to what was important to me and making spot-on suggestions. I could only hope that the dinner would be good, as I was unavailable for a tasting. Chef Dawn's food, including vegetarian, beef, and sea bass, was absolutely delicious, and the portions were surprisingly generous and beautifully plated. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was delectable. The service team was very accommodating, flexible, and professional, including when we all dropped our forks during the salad course to run out to the balcony to take sunset photos. Overall, the set up, food, and service led by Ryan were outstanding, and certainly exceeded my expectations. It didn't hurt that wonderful bartender Chad is also from Texas! My brother, who has a long history of hotel/resort food and beverage experience, including The Ritz Carlton, gave the food a big thumbs up. All of my guests were very impressed and thankful, and the gorgeous bride and my sweet son loved everything.

    Working with Purslane, and especially with Michaela and Justin, was a highlight of our wedding planning, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had such excellent partners in producing our event. The staff, especially Michaela and Justin, are responsive, friendly, accommodating, and professional; the space is gorgeous and beautifully maintained and operated; the food and drink were bountiful and delicious, and the service rivaled any of New York's fine restaurants. Best of all, the process of collaborating to make our wedding happen was easy and fun, and Michaela and Justin made us, the nervous engaged couple with a million things to manage, very confident that our day would not just go as planned, but would be a beautiful success. And indeed it was! Of all the people we worked with. Michaela and Justin deserve special mention. They are excellent communicators, responsive to the million questions and people that wedding planning entails. They are proactive collaborators, laying out a clear process and schedule not just for the day, but for the process of working to plan it. They provided useful, detailed documentation at every step of the way, including a very helpful list of recommended vendors. Every meeting with them was fun and friendly, but also productive, punctual and a good use of time. And of course, the food and wine tastings were delicious. Michaela and Justin were so helpful in giving us a sense of how the venue would perform in a situation we wouldn't get to experience until the day itself. They guided us expertly, making shrewd suggestions we might not have considered ("Since you have an open bar, we recommend choosing a heavier vegetarian entree.") My wife and I had a unique vision for our event, and these two not only assured us that it was possible, they worked with the park to accommodate myriad details, even down to the selection of lightbulbs. It's no exaggeration to say that without their help, the event would not have had the specific atmosphere we imagined, nor would it have been the roaring success that it was. All the confidence they inspired along the way paid off on the day, when Michaela, Justin, and their staff were a machine. The service was prompt, helpful, and invisible; the food was great, not losing too much in the translation from tasting to event; the wedding ran perfectly smoothly, with Purslane on top of the schedule, keeping the momentum of the night alive as they moved tables, served each course, operated the bars, and so on with perfect cadence. We are so, so grateful to Purslane for making our wedding a true dream come to life. Our only regret is not responding sooner to their lovely post-wedding thank you note, and for taking so long to write this review!     Hudson Table and its staff are a hidden gem for your wedding or special event. We hosted our rehearsal dinner for 45 people at Hudson Table in June 2022. Anne, Chef Doug, Christine and their staff were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. Chef Doug crafted an amazing menu that catered to our large group and honored several dietary restrictions including vegans and nut allergies. Hudson Table is also BYO which helps keep an event like this within budget. The price point is so reasonable: we looked into numerous options and you cannot feed a group of 45 at this price point at any other venue in the city, and few others can accommodate this large a group. We opted for the additional barending staff and definitely recommend it, they were so helpful and the price was on-budget and elevated the event. Upon arrival, I was thrilled to see the space set up with table runners, and our event manager Christine had an eye for the space and helped us arrange our candles tastefully on some beautiful plateware she had on-site and set up the tables with pops of colored poetry. Hudson Table also has some outdoor seating which is great for a large event like ours, so we had run over into the outdoor space for seating, and Christine decorated those tales with some greenery. The photos from the outdoor space are STUNNING. Christine our event manager kept us on time and checked in with me and my groom frequently to make sure we were eating and to alert us when it was time for toasts, and when we're ready to clean up. Chef Doug also made sure we were eating while entertaining, and checked in about the quality of the food. The portions are generous, and even with 45 people we had leftovers. Hudson packaged the leftovers for us and our guests to take home which was such a pleasant surprise. My groom and I received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the space and were told it was one of the most fun rehearsal dinners they've ever attended. If you are looking for a casual, friendly environment where you can mingle with guests and eat to die-for food, honestly look no further.

    Aram and Adrine did a fantastic job catering our wedding. When my husband and I first began our search for a caterer, we knew we wanted to find someone who could provide great food in an elegant format. We also were getting married at a private residence, so the catering team would have to be able to bring in everything, staffing, food stations, food warmers, etc. Aram and Adrine were great! They met us at the residence beforehand to brainstorm ideas such as the theming of the food, the food displays, and where the food stations should be located. This was very helpful because they brought a lot of very creative ideas. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. The servers and bartenders were professional. The food displays looked fantastic. And the food tasted very good! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything looked and tasted. Aram and Adrine were an integral part of our wedding experience and we are very happy with how everything came together. We highly recommend Lolik Catering!

From the outset, their team demonstrated professionalism and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of our wedding meal was nothing short of perfect. One of the highlights of their service was the Chicken Picatta. It was a hit among our guests, who raved about the perfectly cooked chicken, the balance of flavors in the sauce, and how it paired beautifully with the green beans and mash potatoes.     I can't recommend Denise and her team more. Denise catered my wedding in September and our guests couldn't stop talking about the food. The short ribs and salmon were not only delicious but cooked perfectly even when made for 150 people! Denise was also so hands on during the planning process and helped us ensure we had all the rentals we needed and provided feedback and advice which was so helpful when you are a bride who has never done this before. The staff that Denise brought the day of was also spectacular, they were kind, quick and always willing to help a guest. Her business partner Will who ran the bar was also amazing, he helped us ensure we had everything we needed and made sure lines moved during the night. If you need a caterer in the area who can provide amazing food and is just awesome to work with, definitely hire Denise!

    From my very first conversation with Chef Lemaire from Sensory Delights, I knew that they were the perfect vendors for our wedding. Sensory Delights offers a very creative menu and with very fair pricing. The whole team is highly professional; and they have a very thorough system in place to ensure a quality service. As the day approached, Neima was very helpful. She communicated with my wedding planner and also helped us tremendously the day of. As I was getting ready to walk down the aisles, Neima was helping with my dress as I was getting down the stairs. My husband and I chose the plated dinner and Let me tell you, that exceeded our expectations! Our guests kept calling after the wedding to compliment me as they were impressed with the food and services from the servers. One of the main highlights is how they made sure that my bridal party ate during the cocktails hour after the ceremony while taking our pictures. At the end of the night, they had boxed food for my husband and me for the next day. My wedding planner told me how they went the extra mile to make sure that they delivered.     How much does wedding catering cost?
