The DuPage County Historical Museum is housed in what was formerly known as the Adams Memorial Library. The building was erected by John Quincy Adams (a distant relative of the Adams presidents) in 1891 to serve as a library and community center for Wheaton in memory of his late wife, Marilla Phipps Adams. In 1967, the building opened as the DuPage County Historical Museum under the operation of the County of DuPage and DuPage County Historical Society. Today, the Museum is operated as a facility of the Wheaton Park District and owned by the County of DuPage. Giorgio and Sarah are a husband and wife team, a photographer and coordinator/officiant, with a unique historic loft space in downtown Chicago. We are essentially a one-stop-shop, except for catering services. Our standard packages include venue, photographer, officiant, coordinator, music sound system, ceremony backdrop, candles and white padded chairs. Packages may be customized with cake, flowers, and additional services. We host elopements and mini weddings (2 to 30 people) for ceremony and portraits. We also host standard small weddings and receptions with up to 50. For events with catering, an outside licensed and insured caterer is required, and there are several caterers on our pre-approved list to choose from.
