Welcome to 223 Main! Located in the Heart of Downtown Lemont’s historical district, just three doors down from the Metra Station, 223 Main boasts a storied origin. Initially built in the 1900s as a double storefront, it transformed throughout the century into a department store, political office, coffee shop, and now an event space. 223 Main is owned and operated by a local Lemont couple, Hector and Lauren Tamayo. Hector grew up in Lemont and always loved the downtown area. At the beginning of 2020, the coffee shop leasing the space decided to close down. While brainstorming what the building could be next, the Covid-19 Pandemic hit. Lauren and Hector decided to cancel their destination wedding and remodel 223 Main. After having their intimate wedding at the building, they decided to officially launch 223 Main and open the space up to the community to enjoy.

With two main studios and over 3,000 square feet of divisible space, The Lytle Auditorium offers an intentionally designed, minimalist backdrop for numerous functions. Flooded with daylight and featuring high ceilings, natural materials, a 6' x 36' skylight, 50' catwalk, indoor ivy wall and green ambiance, the space is versatile and easily navigated for weddings and private ceremonies.

Copper Fox is a newly renovated event space located in the historic downtown area of Third Street in Geneva. It is an ideal venue for your wedding day, offering three unique spaces to accommodate your wedding party and guests. Our experienced event staff will work with you to create a customized wedding reception menu to suit your needs. We can also create a wine and cocktail list tailored to the tastes of your guests. The spacious and versatile event space features beautiful lighting and a new audio/visual system for presentations during your wedding reception. The DuPage County Historical Museum is housed in what was formerly known as the Adams Memorial Library. The building was erected by John Quincy Adams (a distant relative of the Adams presidents) in 1891 to serve as a library and community center for Wheaton in memory of his late wife, Marilla Phipps Adams. In 1967, the building opened as the DuPage County Historical Museum under the operation of the County of DuPage and DuPage County Historical Society. Today, the Museum is operated as a facility of the Wheaton Park District and owned by the County of DuPage. It is the only institution dedicated to the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of materials which document the history of DuPage County.
