Now I've expanded into portraits, engagement sessions, and I've done small weddings. I'm a Chicago native but I've also lived in Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, Texas, & now Mississippi!! What can I say, I enjoyed a somewhat nomadic lifestyle. I also just got married on August 31st, so I know how it feels to be both a service provider and a customer! My style of photography is more candid with a documentary style approach, but I do love a good editorial moment!

Hey!  I'm Brandi, the founder of Epic Events!  I started planning events over 17 years ago with my own wedding, then weddings and events for family and friends.  Unfortunately, I didn’t hire an Event Planner/Coordinator for my wedding years ago.  Everything was beautiful!  However, it wasn't until a couple years later when I was looking through wedding pictures that I realized that I didn't get a single picture of just me and my mom.  To this day that saddens me.  This is why I'm so passionate about coordinating weddings, to ensure no bride has regrets from their wedding.

I was born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi -- hotty toddy forever! I attended Delta State University after graduating high school in 2016 where I met my husband, Logan Myles. In January 2020 we welcomed the most precious baby boy, Rowan Nash, into our lives. My boys are my whole heart, and I'm so grateful that God chose me to be Logan's forever and Rowan's mama.

Founded in 2013, Mallard’s Croft (Scottish for “small farm”) is a 600 acre farm a few miles south of Collierville, TN, just below the state line in Mississippi. We hosted our first wedding in the renovated barn in the January 2014. Hosting events and making them unique is our driving passion. Decades of reclaiming wood and bricks from historic buildings has allowed us to use reclaimed antique wood and materials in all of the buildings at Mallard's Croft.

When I started photography I felt almost embarrassed that I was doing something, that at the time, seemed so cliche. I knew I had a lot of growing to do as a photographer and I was eager to learn. After a lot of prayers, I put my work out in the world to be critiqued and judged. I had a few critics but mostly, I had support and encouragement. All of a sudden I started receiving inquiries for engagements and graduation sessions. People actually wanted to pay me for doing something I love to do. It was like getting paid to go to the beach! Now she is The Today Show Food Contributor and has done appearances on Food Network’s The Kitchen and on Chopped as a judge. Elizabeth is a Southern Living contributing editor. DJ Wes a.k.a. Wesley Flint has been entertaining people all his life. From a very young age, Wesley has enjoyed the thrill of being on the big stage. Entertaining others is what he loves to do. Some of Wesley’s earliest memories of this ‘entertainment bug’ occured during the early 70’s while he was growing up in Florida. He would pull open the front curtains of his home and put on skits while the neighborhood kids would watch from the front yard. Please don’t think that this means Wesley has to be the center of attention (wink, wink). This really is not the case.
