You're "coulda-been-a-bridesmaid" Photographer. Your wedding photographer should feel like having your bestie in your by your side- fun, has tissues at ready, helps run the show smoothly and KNOWS your priorities. With almost 15 years as a Memphis wedding photographer, I work on the front end to get to know my couples so that my work can authentically capture the actions we take to show our care and love for each other. I cherish all forms of human connection (LBGTQ+), and believe that our most precious memories deserve to be preserved in a way that is personable and true to us.
If there's ONE thing I want to be able to do for you, it's to get you back in the MOMENT of your wedding day. Annnd secretly compose a killer photo while you're there. No matter the type of wedding you’re planning, it should be documented in a way that is intimate, beautiful, and true to the your story. That means more than just the decorations, but all the giddy laughter and ugly cries in between. I try to spend personal time on the front end to get to know each of my couples. Relaxed session and beautiful pictures!
My fiance and I had a great time taking pictures with Michelle. He has never really been one for photos but Michelle made the session so easy and stress free! We went to our favorite place in town and it felt like we were just spending time together. I love how the pictures feel like us and you can really see the joy and smiles on our faces. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to anyone in or around Memphis. I am so happy we got to capture this time in our life together!

From the moment we first spoke with Michelle Evans, we knew we were in good hands. Her collaborative and supportive communication style immediately put us at ease, and it was clear she is a true master of her craft. The quality of her work exceeded our wildest expectations - she captured every moment of our special day in a way that was truly breathtaking. Michelle went above and beyond at every turn, even stepping in to deal with some difficult family members with grace and keeping us on schedule. Thanks to her, we felt confident, beautiful, and completely present to enjoy our wedding. Michelle truly has a gift for making your day even better than you could have imagined. Michelle Evans Art is Literally the Best
Words literally cannot express how amazing Michelle and her team were on our wedding day and leading up to it. Hiring Michelle was one of the best decisions we could have made. I would not have wanted anyone else to capture our special day. Leading up to our wedding, Michelle did our engagement photos, a puppy valentine shoot, and a "howloween" shoot. Michelle not only captured our goofy selves with such grace and authenticity she also could get the very best out of our silly Stella the dog. Leading to the wedding day, Michelle was there every step of the way, helping with recommending other wedding vendors and helping with the overall process. Michelle is truly a professional and easily took charge of managing our crazy families and also getting the very best of them as well. We just got our sneak peak of our "Space Disco" wedding and let me let you, Michelle's work is out of this world. The colors are so vibrant and luxurious. Michelle's work is a perfect blend of capturing sweet and silly moments that feel very representative of the day. I am so glad to have made a friend in one of Memphis's best in the wedding industry and will definitely continue to hire her to capture our future milestones, as should you!

Hiring Michelle was the best decision ever! She was wonderful! There was clear and consistent communication from the beginning, and she went out of her way to always send us a heads up close to important dates. Neither of us had any experience with professional photography before this, and she made my husband and me feel right at home immediately. I also can’t stress how helpful she was on the wedding day, and how she managed to herd all of us cats with ease right on time with the schedule. And then there’s the photos. They are spectacular, vibrant and beautiful. Working with Michelle was like working with a close friend, she took the time to really get to know us and it shines through in every picture she took. We got back from our honeymoon and I had an email about our first look photos, they blew me away. I’m so excited to see the rest, and a little sad it’s all over! Michelle is an absolute joy to work with, I will definitely be reaching out to her again for any future photography needs.
