Major changes are happening in downtown Marshall as the long-vacant building at 112 N. Eagle Street transforms. The new Venue 19 Zero 9, named after Schuler’s founding year in 1909, will occupy the historic Dreamers Furniture store, blending Schuler’s legacy with modern elegance for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. The venue will feature a reception room for 250 guests, intimate seating areas, bridal quarters, large restrooms, and three boutique hotel rooms. Schuler’s Restaurant will provide exclusive catering for exceptional culinary experiences.

The barn is a Nucor Steel barn that has been transformed into a Rustic Barn inside with floor to ceiling timber wood siding, horse stalls transformed into a bar, kitchen and modern restrooms, an upper level previous hay mound and storage rooms transformed into a bride and grooms suites. Established in 1977, Matterhorn has become one of Elkhart’s most treasured and long-standing venues. The expansive building features three separate banquet halls, all of which can be combined to accommodate larger gatherings. The East Room is the venue’s smallest space and provides a cozy setting for up to 80 people. The helpful staff can easily join the East, Oak, and West Rooms into a combination that best suits the desired needs and capacity. Linking all three rooms allows for a large dance floor and gives 500 guests ample room to mix and mingle.
