I'm a bit of a free spirit. My wife Jaime is an analyzer. We may seem like unconventional partners, but together our dynamic works perfectly. My talent doesn't lie solely in photography... It's being creative in general. And whether that creativity is channeled into photography or some other artistic outlet, it's an itch that's in constant need of scratching. That's why I turned to photography as a profession in the first place. My name is Amanda Montgomery and I am Arrae Photography based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The name Arrae (pronounced [uh-rey]) came from my first initial and my middle name, Rae, added an extra r and made a new word. I wanted something unique that was also me, the idea came to mind one day and it just fit. Being a photographer is all I've ever wanted to do with my life.
