I photographed a dear friends wedding at the Andover Country Club. It was pouring rain at the start of the wedding day. The staff was so accommodating! Luckily, I asked a lot of questions and figured out a great plan that worked for our couple. I had asked if we could get some chairs and they were outside waiting for me right after the ceremony. I kept in touch with time and make sure it worked for both of us and it was a great working relationship. We were on the same team and making the best day for our couple. I loved working with them and I can’t wait to go back and photograph at this venue again!

Everything about this venue was incredible, from the picturesque mansion to the wonderful, supportive staff. From our very first interactions with the sales team (Helen) to our day-of staff (Casey & May), everyone was extremely professional, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. They were gracious in answering our questions, calming our nerves, and being an assuring force throughout it all. We are so grateful for the love and care they put into our special day to keep everything organized and on track. Fireside's food was phenomenal and all the late night snacks and desserts were a huge hit with our guests. There was also a nice flow throughout the night and our guests commented that they were grateful that they knew where to go at every point in the wedding. We had rain on our wedding day but we are pleased to say that the ceremony under the tent was still magical, and actually created a nice moody atmosphere and our photos came out amazing. The heaters kept the tent dry and comfortable all night. We hope someone else we know gets married at the Stevens Estate soon so that we can attend!

We cannot speak highly enough about the Atkinson Country Club! The coordinators and other staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The venue if beautiful in any season and the food is really good. We got married 4/27/24 and were extremely lucky with the weather. We got married on the patio outside and used the Fairview room for our reception. My only con with the venue/ outdoor ceremony is the chairs. There is nothing wrong with them, they just aren’t aesthetically pleasing. There are multiple reception halls at this venue and they can accommodate more than one wedding at a time. The bridal suite is very big and has adorable vintage decor. There are so many perks like center pieces, a night stay, golf vouchers, and much more. We decided to book during the “winter season” and got an amazing deal! Again cannot recommend enough!

They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!

We have nothing but rave reviews of our amazing wedding weekend at the beautiful and historic Groton Inn! We cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone considering the Inn for their special event. With its rural/suburban setting close to Boston and Manchester NH airports, the Groton Inn’s charming Main Street location was ideal for ourselves, our families, and out of town guests who needed overnight accommodations. The rooms were all spacious, immaculately clean and very well appointed, and guests took full advantage of various amenities like the gym, lounge areas and hallway beverage stations. The delicious daily breakfast and the bridal suite options added to the ease of us preparing for our day wedding which was held right around the corner at The Barn at Gibbet Hill. Everyone also appreciated the convenience of being able to walk to nearby hair salons, eateries, and other local businesses, and we loved spending time on the spacious porch and the courtyard visiting with our guests. More specifically, we felt from our first meeting that we were in such good hands with Eleanor Keydel, Sales and Events Manager. She was so informative, efficient, well organized and thorough throughout the months’ long lead-up to our end of September wedding, and offered us much needed guidance and reassurance as we planned the table arrangement, decor and menus for both our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party which were held in the Inn’s beautiful Keep’s Conservatory. Eleanor was consistently quick to respond to emailed questions and phone messages, and made it so easy scheduling face to face meetings with her despite her busy schedule and our out of town location. The warm decor and intimate feel in the Keep’s Conservatory provided the perfect backdrop for our wonderful rehearsal dinner followed by our Welcome Party. The fireplace and mantel where we displayed family photos added to the personalized feel and ambience. We have to give a special thanks to bartender extraordinaire, Kerrie, whose good humor and helpfulness went far to ensure our guests felt at ease throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared just as requested and beautifully presented, and though we are sorry we cannot identify them by name, there were a host of other event staff and servers present who all went out of their way so we felt special and celebrated all night long. The Groton Inn is uniquely wonderful, and we cannot imagine a more perfect setting for what truly was the wedding weekend of our dreams.

We stayed on site the night of our wedding in one of the most incredible rooms I've been in. I loved my experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Black Swan. All staff were friendly and helpful, and Donna is such a pleasure to work with. She handled our 2-day cultural wedding celebration with calm and professionalism, and had no issue with a number of things that were important to us, like bringing in a horse for a baraat and including Indian catering. We got compliments all weekend about how smoothly everything unfolded. BSCC also happens to be one of the slightly more affordable venues on the North Shore, but the views are stunning! I really can't recommend this place enough.

Kari and Alli (director of banquets)- words cannot even express how grateful I felt having both of them help with the ceremony entrances as we had an odd amount of people in the wedding party. Kari and Alli were both there the day of our wedding and made sure everything was set up the way I envisioned it. We had the best experience with the Bedford Event Center. Everyone was so kind, professional, and most importantly, approachable. Communication was clear, costs were discussed upfront and were very reasonable. There were no surprise surcharges that we needed to worry about. They provided and set up linens, tables and chairs, and we could bring in pretty much any caterer/food we wanted. They have fun features like uplighting and the cloud over the ballroom. They worked with us to create a signature drink that was a hit. Not to mention, it’s gorgeous! They’ve done a great job creating a space that can be used for a variety of events. In short, working with the Bedford Event Center was a breeze and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

We had a room block here for our wedding in Beverly, and hosted a brunch the day after (you have to have a catered event at the hotel in order to have a room block). Overall, our experience was pretty good. The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms were beautiful. The King Suite was great to get ready in - I had 11 people getting hair and makeup done, with 4 artists, and there was enough space. Having the Regatta Pub on site was perfect for a welcome event and post-wedding spot and could easily accommodate a large influx of people. The brunch was ready to go with plenty of tasty food and drink. They also were able to hand out welcome bags when guests checked in. Kristen, who organized the room block, was extremely communicative and responsive to our emails, and helped us add rooms to our block a couple times. We are rating 4/5 stars for a couple reasons. First is that housekeeping never came to the suite to clean after we had left for the wedding, so we returned at the end of the night to all of the room-service coffee/breakfast items that had arrived at 8:30 that morning. When we called the front desk, no one answered. Secondly, while the brunch was great, they do charge a large room fee and administrative fee.

This Victorian treasure was built in the late 1880s, and originally served as the county courthouse. It’s been lovingly restored, and boasts a two-story theater space with an exquisitely embellished ceiling and wraparound mezzanine balcony. In the warmer months, ceremonies may be held in Centanni Courtyard. This airy outdoor space continues the historic feel of the Arts Center with lawns, a large arbor, and brick pathways. Your rental fee helps support the Center’s mission: to educate the community about diversity through the presentation of multicultural arts programs, and to make the center available to artists and groups who may not otherwise have access to a professionally equipped space.

We couldn't be more happy with our choice to have our wedding ceremony and reception last weekend at CMAC! Adria was very communicative pre-event and easily adjusted our contract when we had to delay our date by one year. She also let us drop stuff off decorations the night before and pick things up the following Monday which was very helpful logistically. M ran our sound and lights and they were very organized and willing to work with us on running a playlist rather than using a DJ. We lucked out with beautiful weather and had our ceremony at the park outdoors but CMAC is really appealing because there's a good option for an indoor ceremony if it rains. The venue overall is absolutely stunning and our guests were raving about how beautiful the historic ballroom was. Great value for the Boston area and a perfect spot for a city wedding, with the airport and many hotels nearby.

We had the most magical day of our lives getting married at the Hampshire House in early May this year. Right from the get go, Hampshire House checked all our boxes when it came to what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It has that old New England charm, is located right next to the beautiful Public Gardens and is the perfect size for an intimate, small to medium sized wedding (we had 60-70 guests in attendance). Most of all, the food here is beyond exceptional and some of the best we’ve had. We are major foodies, and having food that was well-plated, generously portioned, and above all delicious and memorable was a high priority item for us. We were lucky enough to be able to work with Sydney Turnbull and the Hampshire house team. Sydney is the most kind, professional, and detail-oriented catering sales manager and event coordinator and thanks to her, all our venue planning with Hampshire House was truly smooth sailing and stress-free. Sydney constantly kept us in the loop with next steps in our planning timeline, offering thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for our wedding (such as floral placements during our ceremony, order and timing of toasts/speeches, seating arrangements, the list goes on!) She kept in contact with all our vendors, always promptly responded to our many emails, walked us through all the steps during our ceremony rehearsal —somehow making it seem much less daunting, and on our big day Sydney seemed to always be one step ahead, preparing and leading us through every portion of our wedding timeline in such a seamless way. Lastly, since our wedding ended late into the evening, Hampshire House thoughtfully held on to and organized all our florals, and various wedding signage and other items so that we were able to return and pick it up at the venue on a following day. This made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all night of and could end our wedding day with the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. Truly, we cannot recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House enough and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!
