They worked our wedding at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills and did an absolutely incredible job (more details below). Sarah, our go-to contact person from day one, went way above and beyond in being accessible for questions, taking note of our vision and making great suggestions. In short, she was a total delight to work with, as was the case with Nathan. Prior to the wedding, Nathan took time out of his busy life to get on a video call with Corey and I to discuss our timeline, vision and final details. The questionnaire Sarah provided before that was also extremely helpful in conveying our vision, and it was evident Nathan had reviewed those responses in detail before our call. “Jos and Tree came highly recommended to us and, having worked with them, we now know why! A lot of people take wedding photos. Among them are a handful of folks who are also reliable, professional, and pleasant to work with. And within that smaller group, is an even smaller group of photographers who have real artistic vision matched with technical skill. Jos & Tree are, without a doubt, near the top of that select group. The images they produced of our wedding run the gamut from traditional wedding photos to absolute masterpieces of lighting, composition, and technical execution. Here's an example: as the day was wrapping up, and a bit *after* Jos and Tree's deadline for leaving had passed, they quickly posed my wife and I in front of a tree in the park; Jos had a vision for an image he wanted to capture in the fading light... and the resulting image proved absolutely magnificent; it is my favorite photo of the day, and among the top photographs I have seen anyone create, anywhere. On top of the artistic talent and skill, Jos & Tree were an absolute pleasure to work with; responsive, pleasant, personable, and fun. They were always on time, and ready to work... and work they did!! The amount of effort and energy they put into capturing lots of beautiful and creative images cannot be overstated. “We're actually rating The Hendrys one trillion stars out of five because they are "out of this world" amazing photographers and you should stop reading this review and book them ASAP! If you're still reading though, let us break down our perfect experience with them: They were recommended to us by our venue (Valentine DTLA) and we fell in LOVE with them as soon as we saw their website! Their portfolio and "about me" won us over because we were looking for wedding photographers who could capture the in-between moments, do some fun stylized shots, and be just as fun and goofy as we are! We reached out over the website and heard back from them immediately over email. Their super funny, yet professional personality came through and that got us so excited to work with them! They were also open to us asking as many questions as we wanted (especially when it came to the contract), which made us feel even more comfortable! We then got to meet them over ZOOM where we broke down how the day would go, they asked us what kind of pictures we were looking for, and we just got to know each other. We honestly may have become best friends with them as we couldn't stop talking to them about everything and anything for 2 hours. After that, we knew we were gonna be in the best hands, but we could never have ever imagined how perfect they really would be! When it finally came to the wedding day, The Hendrys went above and beyond! They were extremely professional as they kept us on schedule while experimenting with different types of photos (using a Fish Eye Lens, prisms, neon lights, etc.). They knew how to make everything feel super relaxed and fun and just let us do whatever was natural to us no matter what kind of photo it was. While we were losing it over the fact we just got married, The Hendrys just let us take everything in while politely directing us for photos. When we weren't doing staged photos, they were out of sight, but taking stunning photographs of everything that was happening in between. They were like ninjas as they would disappear and then reappear and grab us for the next shoot! It really was so cool! A few weeks after the wedding, we received our photos in record time and they were the COOLEST PHOTOS EVER (which you can see attached to this review)!
