I have been a wedding photographer since 2015 when I was first asked by one of my college ultimate frisbee friends to take pictures at her wedding. It was love at first snap! The face behind Padre Ryan is me, Laura Schimmel, a Corpus Christi transplant from New England. I worked at Padre Ryan for 2 years as Director of Photography before taking on the ownership role in January of 2017. I love every moment of being a photographer, videographer and business owner. Whether your wedding venue is on a beach, at The Art Center, the Knolle Farm or your back yard, I will be there. I do not charge extra for last minute requests of "services needed" such adding a Sand Ceremony. I don't charge for signing or mailing the marriage certificate. My fee does not go up if the number of your guests should increase. You get all of this for $100.00. Due to the vows I took when I was ordained, I cannot perform same-sex marriages.
