Foothills Catering was founded by brother and sister, Nikki Lucero and Erik Farnsworth. Our parents first introduced us into the world of catering when they opened Lopiano’s Catering in 1989. Growing up working in the industry for 20 years was a once in a life time experience.

We moved from NYC in 2016 with big city dreams of a simpler life with more space for our growing family and a desire to be close to farm fresh foods. We created Whistling Boar with the mission to embrace sustainable hospitality practices, support agricultural sustainability and soil regeneration by building community that supports local farms.
