“We hired DJ Chuck from mydeejay for our wedding on April 6, 2024 at Kent Island Resort, and it was the best decision! From our initial phone call, after interviewing a few different DJs from different companies, we knew Chuck would be the right fit. Chuck arrived early to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. “Matt, our DJ, was great to work with from start to finish. He took time to get to know us and the vibe we wanted for our ceremony and reception, had playlists to offer as starting points, and collaborated closely with us to make sure our favorite songs made it into the night. He was upbeat and responsive throughout the planning process (loved the group chat), and day of, he was both flexible and direct, which made coordinating things like special dances a breeze. “This band is totally amazing! Everybody loved them, even my pre-teens who don’t like anything. “It’s been almost a month since my wedding and all anyone can talk about (still!!!) is this band! They were fantastic, high energy, talented beyond measure and knew how to play to their audience. I’m so happy I found them. They were reasonable price compared to other bands we looked at also. Our manager, Hannah, was fantastic with coordination and hearing me out on all of my song requests. 12/10 would definitely contract with again!”

“We used Sam Hill Entertainment to book the band “The Dickens”. This is the part of our wedding everyone is still talking about. They played such a variety that every age was able to enjoy. Not a single person was sitting at the tables while the Dickens were on the stage. They most certainly delivered on their promise of No Boring Receptions and has us and our friends dancing all night! They guided the ceremony and reception with ease, and handled any time hiccups that came up without any fuss, making it a less anxious time for all. The planning suite they use is extremely easy to navigate and set s everyone up for success leading up to the big day! A little something that stood out: Our pastor that officiated our wedding is retired and had not done a wedding in 6 years, and it was the first one he had done without his wife of 57 years there with him. Devail and Nikki took time out of their busy schedule to share some video footage with our pastor so that he could show his wife. Talk about making it a personal experience!! They did this sort of thing throughout the whole process of working with them. We know this is a long review, but long story short, We cannot recommend their services enough. HIRE THEM!!!!”
