This historic barn, built in 1870's in New Kingston, PA, has seen many chapters. Moved to Shippensburg, PA, in 1946 after a fire, it faced demolition in 2019. With the love and support of family and friends, we undertook the incredible task of relocating the barn and several outbuildings. Our dream was to create a unique and cherished wedding venue for our daughter and son-in-law – a dream that has blossomed into Rustic Reflections Venue. We are passionate about helping couples bring their wedding visions to life, while also offering a welcoming space for gatherings of all sizes. ​Heritage Restored is a farm that will give you the setting for your wedding or special event that evokes a sense of history, peaceful views, and plenty of space to utilize. The 57 acre property will give a deep breath of relaxation to your event and can accommodate over 200 guests. Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.
