“I wanted an excellent, professional, and kind pianist for our wedding. Jan was the answer. I am also a pianist, and I did not want the standard Pachelbel's Canon or Wedding March played during our ceremony. I had dreamt of Beethoven's Pathetique playing as my father walked me down the aisle for as long as I can remember -- my dad played this on the piano frequently when I was a child, so the piece holds a lot of sentimental value.
