As a quick learner, and now at the age of 24, Jocelyn has now become a well-seasoned and a highly sought after DJ in the DMV area. Her music portfolio consists of 30,000 plus songs stemming from Big Band, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Pop, to Hip Hop. She has performed in over 50+ venues, some included are Grand Ballrooms, Country Clubs, Smithsonian Castle, to local night clubs and backyard BBQ’s. Jill started DJing in 2003 for Associated Consultants, for schools, nightclubs, weddings & corporate events! She has been the DJ for Linedanceforyou, an organization that teaches line dances of all styles, since 2006, which serves the Northern Va. area on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Because Jill is also a professional musician, she is made constantly aware of all genres of music, by engaging with the public 7 days a week. She can easily play a night of Latino, trap, country, oldies, and current dance tunes but also has a children’s library of songs for school events.

Now based in Washington DC, Eli has been traveling the globe for two decades and weaving his experiences into fresh folk anthems of personal empowerment, natural awareness, and finding one’s place in the world.Rooted in the Americana tradition, Eli’s influences range from the flamenco progressions of Andalusia, Spain, enchanting minor chords from Israel and the Middle East, and powerful melodies from the southwestern United States. The Archives began when Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton began a quest to explore the roots of reggae music. Led by producer/ keyboard ace Darryl “D-Trane” Burke, all members have recorded and toured internationally with acts like Eek-A-Mouse, Black Uhuru, Culture, Don Carlos and more,” Burke explains. “We weave together the best of foundation reggae roots, rock steady, early dub and dancehall influences.

With a father who loves Miles Davis and a mother who adores Smokey Robinson, Cecily grew up surrounded by the music in her parents vast record collection, and was captivated by the works of Minnie Riperton, Gil Scott-Heron, Anita Baker, and Phyllis Hyman. After college, Cecily looked to these rich, soulful sounds from her childhood, and channeled them into her own music. Known for her sweet soprano, honest lyrics and pure vocals, Cecily brings her own vulnerability to each song, telling her story, and hopes that, at the end, the audience feels vulnerable enough to tell their own stories.

Cristian Perez’s quintet (which consists of guitar, bass, drums, flute and bandoneon) is a hybrid group melding elements of a chamber ensemble, a jazz combo, and a world music band. It features some of Cristian’s original compositions and arrangements as well as various cover songs. Exploring sounds from around the world with the subtlety of classical music and the freedom of Jazz, this group’s relentless quest for beauty takes the listener on a journey with no boundaries.

The Bele Bele Rhythm Collective is an intergenerational, diverse group of ~20 women from DC and surrounding areas who all share a passion for drumming. Founded in 2008 and led by Drumlady Kristen Arant, the BBRC performs tightly sewn compositions of polyrhythms on dun-uns and djembes, along with exciting breaks, contagious songs, and dancing. The BBRC performs to celebrate unity and diversity, and to spread the joy and power of West African drumming to the community at-large. The BBRC recently released their first album, “Roots.”

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised by the world, Eli Lev is a traveler, self-proclaimed folk hero, and a passionate musician Eli performs as a solo artist and now with his new band, The Fortunes Found – featuring the powerful rhythms of DC all-star drummer Michael Miraglia; big bass tones of wunderkind bassist Bojan Novevski from Macedonia, and mandolin player Corey Thuro from Baltimore who maintains a folk grounding while exploring the brave tones afforded to him by his expansive pedalboard.

Founded in 2010 by bassist, Daniel Gallagher and Guitarist Josh Earls; Chasing Autumn started out under the name “Sullivan”. Sullivan played acoustic duet style songs and quickly moved on to more elaborate songs, adding vocals and more instruments. In 2013, preceding the release of their 3rd album “Northern Lights” the band saw the addition of singer, Logan Harpine. With this lineup, the band released two more albums, a Folk influenced EP titled “It’s Alright”, and an extensive 19 song full album titled “New Beginnings”.

Cristian has performed in Canada and Dominican Republic, and in 2011, he performed as part of the GMU Jazz Ensemble in Shanghai and Beijing. Recently, Cristian has toured Bolivia and Korea.

Hi, my name is DJ Roscoe but I am also known as DJ Chop! I am from Southern Maryland and started DJ’ing about 5 years ago. Grant Kuhnsman, who performs as DJ ARIA, is a critically acclaimed, award-winning DJ from Washington, DC. He began creating mixtapes and curating his music collection at a young age. By his teenage years, he was introduced to the turntable and learned how to beatmatch by ear with vinyl. Meredith Seidel has become one of the most sought-after performing artists in the greater Washington-Baltimore region. Monikais a professional harpist in Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia where she is in demand as a performer and teacher. Current teaching appointments include the Levine School of Music, and the Concord Hill School. She maintains a private harp studio in her home and directs the Maryland Classic Youth Harp Ensemble at Strathmore Hall. Monika is a regular coach for the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras and Young Artists of America, also at Strathmore. She serves on the board of directors at Young Artists of America.
