The property is on 17 acres with 1/3 mile of creek frontage. The venue itself is perched at the top of a bluff overlooking Johnson Creek and the wildlife that visits the creek. The venue embraces the Texas Hill Country vibe and celebrates the property's breathtaking views while also having modern amenities and conveniences. You will have the option of holding a gorgeous creek side wedding or utilizing our charming air conditioned chapel with antique oak pews and an amazing view! We offer multi day venue rentals and have onsite lodging for up to 30 guests so your entire wedding party can arrive the day before the wedding to hold the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, as well as completing the decorating. Hideout on the Horseshoe is the premiere spot for any couple looking to get married directly on the Guadalupe River. Centered in the Texas Hill Country, our venue has breathtaking views of the Guadalupe River and rolling hills which make for perfect photo ops! Your ceremony will take place riverside with the Guadalupe River as your backdrop and the reception will be held in our outdoor covered pavilion with a cool breeze coming off the river and hills. Nineteen cabins are included as part of our packages so your nearest and dearest can stay on site with you. Whether you have a smaller guest count of 50, larger guest count of 275 or you fall somewhere in between our venue is perfect for you!

“I could not say enough great things about the Hideout and their staff. The venue was absolutely stunning in November with the changing colors of the trees. The rooms were clean and cozy, we had run of the whole venue and it created the most magical weekend for our family and friends. The only downside to the whole weekend we experienced was the planner you are required to use. On top of being very hard to contact and when you did chat she was often rude or short, and made it seem like she was often annoyed by questions I had. We had our wedding planned for a year and a half but thursday before we were supposed to have a rehearsal on Friday of she told me she just couldn’t get anyone “out to the middle of no where” on a Friday night for our rehearsal so I was very disappointed in that. Although she is the owner of the company so she was not the day of planner we got and the ladies who came from her company day of were absolutely wonderful. Dealing with Johnell with Clearly Classy events just added stress where it was not needed, but her staff and the staff at Hideout were so helpful when I did have these struggles.”
