I highly recommend this company to take photos at your wedding! We loved our photographer Percy. He was incredible, and so helpful. He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). But before we got Percy and our booking process with eivans it was super simple, and just an overall great experience.

I have 12 years of photography experience, 6 years in the industry and have shot more than 180 weddings. Safe to say, this IS my passion. Couples and wedding photography can be SO stressful--the pressure to look and be a certain way or follow trends is INTENSE. Wedding stress is real and I am anti it all the way. For my couples, they're job is just to show up and have fun. I will do ALL the rest!

This review is so overdue it makes me sick, but the reason I've put it off for so long is because I've struggled to come up with the words to fully capture how I feel about Mel and what she contributed to making our special day E V E R Y T H I N G I could have ever asked for. If you don't want to read my whole novel, here's all you need to know: Mel is incredible. As a human being, a woman, a friend, a professional, a photographer - all of it. She will take care of you. I would've paid 10x as much as we did for the memories Mel gave us -- both actual memories WITH Mel and the memories she captured in her photos. From the very beginning I knew I wanted Mel in my corner. I find it SO admirable and refreshing that she takes seriously whether she meshes with her prospective clients or not. She KNOWS that the photos are going to pop off that much more if the vibes between client & photographer are *chef's kiss* -- she's not just chasing anyone down for the money or the exposure. To me, this made Mel really stand out. Vibing with Mel also meant I felt comfortable (because she allowed me the space to) text her with questions/concerns or for advice during the planning and she ALWAYS made me feel better about whatever I was worrying about. Mel is a friend, a sidekick, a bada**, ready-for-anything, go-with-the-flow-but-also-command-the-flow hype woman professional. I'm not kidding when I say that a large portion of my core memories from wedding day are with Mel. And I don't mean because she was following me around with a camera all day, I mean because of the actual hilarious, heartwarming, lifesaving interactions with Mel that stick out to me more than conversations I had with our own wedding guests. Imagine spending all day with someone who isn't making you laugh, providing you relief from the stress, tending to you and just making you feel like an absolute prize all day!!?! Couldn't be me. Wouldn't be Mel. She's d*mn good company. We had a large wedding party which can be annoying for any vendor but especially a photographer. Mel never made us feel bad about that. She stated the facts, made clear what she needed and then made. it. happen. The groomsmen in our party were not great listeners and Mel dominated in getting everyone's attention back. My bridesmaids were basically crushing over how much of a boss she is. And because of how much of a boss she is, she kept ALL things on track, even things she wasn't originally responsible for. She is THE ultimate wedding expert and has an answer for everything. Not every photographer could do what she does, so thank god for Mel knowing her strengths and positioning herself to share the power of those strengths with all of us. Nothing could've prepared me for the emotions I would feel looking through the gallery Mel delivered. Utter shock and awe -- our photos were uniquely ours but still dazzled with that same Mel magic I fell in love with when I found her on IG. After our wedding, I looked back on our day and felt sad thinking about moments I missed or wish I could redo. Her photos completely took all of that away. It was all accounted for. You can trust her to have listened to your needs/wants, to have taken any unique or awkward circumstances into consideration and to have captured moments you'd probably be sad about missing (even the really small, less obviously-important ones). Book her. Book her for the max duration that you can. She's the best in the biz and nothing could convince me otherwise.

Welcome to Arie T. Photography, a black queer woman-owned and operated traveling portrait and wedding photography service based out of the Georgia and Michigan! I've had the honor of capturing all walks of life across the USA with hopes of taking it worldwide. I'm known for my use of natural light, and "unposed” stress-free approach when it comes to my clients. If you feel like you’re awkward in front of the camera, I’ll take that as a challenge to prove you wrong because I can be awkward too.

One of the best wedding decisions we made was booking Arie's photography services. Arie's energy, professionalism, and eye for detail are truly unmatched! Staying in constant communication with us from the day we booked, the regular check-ins were extremely helpful and reassuring in the chaos of wedding planning. By the time we met in person it felt like we had known Arie for years. On our wedding day she brought a calm and upbeat energy which made her a joy to have in the bridal and groom suites while we prepped for the ceremony. During our very lively reception Arie seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing every detail we asked for and so many more. The way Arie seamlessly moved throughout the events prompted our guests to ask if she worked for the venue! She came extremely prepared, was extremely professional, and it showed. Arie is truly an artist who not only took and produced beautiful photos, but managed to capture our vibe. We are so grateful to have found Arie and will DEFINITELY be booking services for our future events!

I was the student who had no idea what she wanted to do after High School. As my peers were applying to college with a clear career path in mind, I struggled to choose just one route. I could see myself in so many roles, and yet none of them fit JUST right. In 2011, my son was born and a new path appeared on my map: Motherhood. This role took over and nothing else mattered. The year progressed and my son grew, and grew and grew some more. I bought my first DSLR to document that rapidly growing boy of mine. It wasn't long before those peers from high school came to me to document their lives as well, and my career path was finally chosen.

When I first reached out to Jenna I was very concerned about how our timeline would work, before even hiring her she sent a mocked up time line for what our day would look like. That's the moment I knew I had to hire her- she put my mind at ease. She went with all of our ideas from our engagement shoot including our dog to the day of timeline where we told her we wanted to enjoy happy hour. They respected all of our requests and captured the MOST BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS. People are constantly impressed when I show them our wedding album and they captured the magic of the day while allowing us to enjoy ourselves as well. Any and all questions I had, she answered. I'm a very anxious person and any time I talked to Jenna ahead of the wedding she put my mind at ease.

I am a midwesterner, born and raised in the burbs north of Chicago who strives to capture moments that are gone in a second, impossible to reproduce, but with the help of an artist touch, can last a lifetime. I'm here to connect with you, listen to you, create with you, and provide a stress-free, comfortable atmosphere from start to finish. 3 things about myself, I have 3 dogs (yes, its crazy LOL), I am in loveee with Target, and coffee and mango froyo are my love languages.

I don't even know where to begin......I found Nichole on good old Facebook. Right from the first point of contact she was just so easy to reach and she responded so quickly which is like the most important thing for a vendor when you're trying to plan a wedding. After our first phone conversation I knew I wanted her to be our photographer! We met in person for the first time for our engagement photos in January 2021 and it was like instant best friends. She knew how to make us laugh, it never got awkward, and the pictures turned out phenomenal! Next step was helping to outline the day of our wedding with pictures. She was really helpful in guiding our timeline of photos and making sure we were including all the photos we want. Helped with my stress levels. Then it was finally wedding day! Nichole is a rockstar!! My bridesmaids were even raving about her the next day! She knows how to make a bride feel less stressed on her wedding day! Nichole got all the photos we wanted and more. I still look at our wedding photos on a daily basis! Nichole is the absolute best photographer you could have! BOOK HER NOW!
