I went to the open house last year and fell in love with the Venue at First sight. The grass, pecan trees, citrus trees, and then 40,000 lights sold the deal. We got married on 5/25/24, with almost all guests flying in. Every guest commented on how romantic the venue was. Stephanie and Ben were the best; they were both very professional and provided their expertise when needed. I can't forget how the ceremony went perfectly due to the support and always encouraging staff, especially Ben. Ensemble Catering is a part of the venue, and being that I have mostly foodie friends, everyone thought the food was delicious. The late-night Fries and Cookie Wall were discussed for the next few days when guests called to say how much they enjoyed the evening. Another consideration in my 5-star review is that the vendors in the package and on their website were just as great to work with. My husband and I are so grateful to everyone who worked that day and all the others who helped plan and make it the best day of our lives. We specifically worked with Got You Covered DJs, Sugarlips Bakery, TonyGeorgePhoto, Ensemble Catering, Wildchild Flowers, and AllTheLovelyLeigh Details. Below are photos from guests, not TonyGeorge. I can confidently say I had the absolute best wedding at The Milestone Denton all thanks to Melissa! Melissa is the most organized, caring, passionate wedding planner I have met and is the main reason my wedding day went absolutely perfect! She communicated effectively with all WWE vendors, helped with all details prior to and on the day of, and was such a hands on planner! I got an abundant number of compliments on the day of the wedding and many days after about how amazing Melissa was - she helped all the wedding party, family, and friends and went above and beyond the bare minimum! She really does it all!! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food was so delicious (many guest complimented the food), and the DJ was sooo smooth on the mic (guest loved him too, his name was Cody)! Overall, the vendors associated with the venue were awesome! But Melissa was definitely the cherrie on top!

We got married on August 24th at the Gallagher! We booked with the Gallagher a little over a year prior, but I had been following their Instagram page for a while and always said I wanted to get married there. After my husband proposed to me, I told him I knew the perfect place. I showed him the Gallaghers instagram page, and he instantly became set on it. We visited a few days later and met with Jenna who gave us a tour. Later on that night we booked our date! We had no other venues in mind and didn’t care to continue looking after our visit. Jenna was so amazing and helpful the whole year. No matter how big or small the question, or how late or early I texted her - she ALWAYS responded and made sure my worries were taken care of. From set up to tear down, the Gallagher team made our wedding dreams come true, and it was truly a magical night.

My husband and I got married in the summer of 2023 at Fassit Mansion. The land was perfectly beautiful and made our dreams of an intimate wedding come to life. Juana (owner) coordinated with me the entire time with all questions regarding anything and everything. Leading up to our day, she was taking care of every detail I didn't think of. The house...my family and bridesmaids stayed here; it was one of the most beautiful places I'd ever stayed in with each room being so unique, vintage, and magical. The farm with the baby goats was such a hit with my family-Juana let them out early every morning to nibble on grass, and we would wakeup just to see/pet them! It was so precious. The price...unbeatable. To look over Fassitt Mansion would be a mistake. This place, Juana's and her families efficiency and kindness - priceless. -love Michael and Abby

I had the opportunity to coordinate a wedding at West Prong Acres November 2022. Planning was convenient and consistent! Amy allowed us to meet there numerous times to discuss layout and check inventory. On the wedding day they were attentive and helpful in items needed and setup of their property! Obviously when booking animals are very much a part of the design and all the inhabitants on the farm were friendly and a hit with the kiddos! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host their wedding in a barn/farm setting and for the DIY bride! Bonus… The Air BNB on the property is super quiet and cute!!!

At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. Erin, Myles, and Jaquetta are miracle workers. They made planning and organizing a wedding as seamless as humanly possible. The amount that we got by booking this venue--the space, the tables and chairs and linens, an endless supply of decorations, PLUS three incredibly knowledgeable coordinators to help our vision come to life...it's kind of astonishing. Myles and Jaquetta made the day of run so smoothly, from bustling dresses and carrying trains, to making sure that we ate and remembered to breathe. Plus the dressing rooms were absolutely STOCKED with basically anything we could possibly need...the wedding party went to town with the fabric steamers that were on hand. My wife and I could not possibly recommend a venue more highly!!!

We just had our wedding at Iron Manor and it was the best night of our lives!! Olivia was our coordinator and she is stellar. She’s calm, cool, and collected under pressure. I had the freedom to have fun and not worry about what was coming next because she would just come get me and guide me to the next thing. Also she made sure I always had a drink in my hand at the reception which was A. The food was awesome, drinks were GREAT, bartenders and servers were hospitable and helpful. The DJ was SUPER. We had Gilbert and I can’t recommend him enough! The one drawback for iron manor was that they don’t let you into the venue until noon on the day of the event. I found this a challenge for the ladies to have time to do our hair and makeup before. We got ready at an air BnB nearby and then got to the venue in time for everything to go fine and well, but we didn’t get any pics of the girls doing makeup/ getting ready. Which is a small bummer in the grand scheme for me. At the end of the day Iron Manor is absolutely stunning and the all inclusive package made planning easier for me. I would 100% do it again.

My wife and I got married at Sylvan Ride Farm last weekend and although words can't really do it justice, what an absolutely incredible wedding venue!!!! It was one thing seeing it without decor (still stunning) but seeing it on our wedding day fully decorated with our stamp on it, i really couldn't believe just how amazing everything truly was! The venue is breathtaking, from the main reception barn to the lawn and lower level cocktail barn and the houses on the property. Such a special blend of rustic and modern, with unique touches all over the grounds including an amazing firepit area and pool. There is so much character at every turn, this place is a dream and a true gem! We knew within about 30 seconds of our visit to the property back in the fall that this was the right place for us, and we were proven to be 10000% right once our wedding arrived! In addition to the property, Linnea was such a pleasure to work with and was so accommodating, responsive, and professional to us. She really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. She is super caring and respectful, and working with her the whole way through made our experience that much sweeter! Our wedding weekend was incredible and it wouldn't have been possible without Linnea and Sylvan Ridge Farm!!!!

The Gardens takes care of food/drink and have a great network of recommended vendors for any aspects of the wedding they don’t provide (photos, officiant, etc.). This was by far the best value we found in any venue. You can tell the care and attention to detail from the start of your tour of the grounds and meeting Johan, Amanda and Chef Kent. The grounds are amazing and have a ton to offer both indoors and outdoors, chapel, other indoor spaces to get ready, sprawling gardens and outdoor ceremony area plus a large tent. We planned our wedding in less than 2 months! Churon Inn really stepped in and helped us out in ways we really needed. It was a blessing they had availability on our day, they worked with us, worked with our budget and helped us make the day exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing, the chef was so nice and welcoming. The wedding coordinator, which was included in our package, was also very nice, helped with a lot of the decorating and made sure everything was how I wanted on the day of. The bridal suite is gorgeous and spacious. The groom's and groomsmen's space is also very spacious. Considering the circumstance and short notice, overall it was a success. A few small hiccups but overall, I highly recommend this place. It was absolutely beautiful! All our guests loved the venue and we got some amazing pictures!! The only things I did not like was that the stairs had a highlighter yellow color on them, which I understand is for safety but it took away from the overall look. Also, our wedding was in November so it was a little cold, I felt heaters should be complimentary and included but we had to pay for each one and order them in advance, which was hard to decide but overall, really happy with everything and I would highly recommend!

We are so so grateful to have gotten married at Sadie Lake! We cannot express enough how incredible this venue is- and on top of that the owner DeeDee is such an incredible, passionate relatable, caring person! We started our venue research and Sadie Lake was the first place we visited- and let me tell you-it was the last. We never checked out any other place, it just felt like home. Not only is the property incredibly beautiful, so much open space, and indoor and outdoor settings for any part of the wedding. But our meeting with DeeDe felt so so right- much more personal than somewhere that is solely business oriented. DeeDee made sure we knew Sadie Lake is about love and celebration and so we knew it was the place for us! When getting married there are so many things to think about, having it indoor or outdoor, figuring out decor, deciding on venues ect. This venue is truly a one stop shop and takes a huge amount of stress off due to the endless options of where to get married within the property, have your reception, not having to be concerned about weather because of all the options, AND they provide a massive amount of decor to choose from. They also included options for tables, chairs, arbors, ect-so much is provided! DeeDee also had so much knowledge on amazing vendors, we were able to pick her brain about options that she knew were amazing and in our price point and with our vibe. Communication was on point whenever we had questions or really about anything-MUCH more than the average place. April was our main point of contact when planning our wedding and she was absolutely amazing. We utilized the bridal suite and the grooms suite the day of the wedding which was perfect and convenient. I loved in New York for 20 years and found this location by accident. When we saw the pictures I thought there was no way it would be as cute in person, but then going for a site visit I was blown away. The Sanctuary had so much character and Alfonso and Frank were so helpful and open throughout the process. We were planning from California and they helped source vendors, provided onsite support and made allowances for special requests. Nothing like the hotels and wedding factories we’d seen. We had a truly bespoke wedding on the water dancing under the stars with the city to frame all of it. The food and drinks were plentiful and the staff on the day of our wedding was so gracious. Berry Acres was the absolute best. They were the first (and only) venue we looked at before knowing they were "The One". They helped all of my visions for what my wedding day would look like come true. I loved that they offered so many services (DJ, Catering, décor rental, planning assistance, set up/tear down) so it took away the stress of trying to find outside vendors. The food was AMAZING. All of our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. The light up dance floor is a perfect touch and so fun. The grounds/venue itself is breathtaking. The fireworks display they offer was outstanding (and another part of the night our guests won't stop talking about!) Angela & Alan along with all of the other staff we met were so kind and excited to help make our dreams come to life. District Winery ended up being the only venue we toured. My goal as a bride was to have to worry about as little as possible and from the start of our communication we loved how much District Winery had to offer (I am not a type A person so this was great!) They were extremely organized in their planning, the food was delicious, and our guests are still raving about the day! We got to fully enjoy our wedding day knowing we were taken care of. Our vendors even mentioned how well they were treated which was so nice to hear. DW truly exceeded our expectations. For couples who want an almost all inclusive venue DW is a great choice.

We had our wedding here in August 2019, And could not have been happier with our decision. The Steamboat Co was the prefect mix of rustic and beautiful, and still provided all of the amenities we wanted (air conditioning, bathrooms, etc). Bethany and Breanne were so helpful throughout the planning process and helped the day go seamlessly. The venue Had the perfect flow of inside and outside space, and our guests raved about the food and drinks. The outside area is beautiful, and great for having the ceremony there. Saugerties is also the perfect little town for a mini destination wedding, with lots of activities near by for guests. After being a bit hesitant to book here, we couldn’t be happier with our decision.

Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. The classrooms and meeting spaces offer the perfect vintage background for business training sessions, and the manicured lawns have been host to numerous parties and festivities.

In the 10 years I've dj'd weddings, the most consistent venue I've come to trust is Nazareth Hall. Everything about Nazareth Hall, from its gorgeous architecture, Grotto, Chapel, and rooms, provide both client and vendor alike an excellent experience. It is very vendor friendly, giving ease of access to all locations and spots, with ample power and staging areas. The Grotto is a bit of a trek up and down a hill, but in recent years staff have generously assisted me and my equipment up the hill with a cart. The food is always quality, the bar service excellent, and the venue is always exceptionally clean. As a DJ at a wedding, there is an expectation to have command of the situation and all the various moving parts of the day. Nazareth Hall assists in this endeavor by having professional, friendly, and knowledgeable staff that work with you as a vendor or client. I cannot stress enough the condition of "with" you, as opposed to telling or commanding one. The relationship builds trust, and I always feel like I am working with a team to accomplish a goal, never and independent operator working in spite of circumstances. Thank you for 10 years of great times and experiences Nazareth Hall! I hope to work with you for many more!

Milton Ridge was an amazing venue for our wedding. The connections, experience, and package deals they offer are super convenient and reduce the stress of planning for the big day. It is a beautiful and accommodating location that really caters to your idea of the best wedding. Shout out to Meaghan for her work in coordinating, especially day-of. If you are looking for a venue and long-term coordinator that takes care of all the minute details and plans everything for you, you might want to hire an additional "month of" planner and coordinator. Be sure to read through all of the offerings to avoid missing details and add-on costs. Also, be aware that Milton Ridge is not necessarily "in charge" of some of the vendors they utilize. The location is private and beautiful. Bridal and groom suites are comfy and well appointed in case you forget the small stuff like hangers and speakers. The coordinators were also communicative and flexible after the wedding when we realized we left/lost some items. Overall, a great experience and lovely location.

We're not honestly sure where to begin with how over-the-moon ecstatic and thrilled we were to have our wedding at Black Walnut Farm. Let us start by saying that Jim & Sarah are the most amazing venue managers/people you will ever meet. Anything we needed help with, any questions we had, any concerns we wanted addressed, they handled them quickly and respectfully. Our original venue lost their permits and canceled on us 4 months before our wedding. To say we were stressed is an understatement. Somehow, through some magic of the universe, we found BWF. It was even better than our original place, and had everything we wanted. We found out they were brand new and didn't exist yet when we were looking. So, it was truly a blessing in disguise. Both Sarah & Jim jumped to help us gather our thoughts, our stresses and our ideas to bring our dream day back to life. Black Walnut Farm is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue (especially if you're looking for a fall wedding, as we did). Our dream wedding was always "vintage fairytale" and it provided that vibe to a T, with versatility for other themes as well. From the rustic cottage (that turned out to basically be our dream home); to the barn itself with its farm-style picnic tables and mismatched chairs (a dream of the bride's); to the grounds - everything is meticulously cared for. All the decor is designed beautifully and artistically by the two of them with each item being picked for specific reasons. Plus, you get Miss Lily, the Pro-purr-ty Manager, as an honorary wedding guest, so that was an excellent plus. Seriously though, if you're looking for a wedding venue in the area and you want a place where the managers are willing to go above and beyond and ensure your perfect day is exactly that; we honestly believe that you can not find a better option than Black Walnut Farm. All of our guests can't stop raving about how perfect it was and how beautiful everything turned out to be. We can't wait to come back and visit for an anniversary down the road so that we can relive the most perfect day in our relationship thanks to Jim & Sarah and their attention to detail. We could write a novel on our love and appreciation for BWF. We joke that they are our fairy godparents but they are so much more than that. They are magic-makers, loving friends, and truly own something special. Do NOT hesitate on Black Walnut Farm.

Our daughter was married August 19,2023 and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the venue and its staff. We rented the estate for the weekend which we highly recommend to anyone hosting a wedding. Having the extra day really helped to allay anxieties and get the wedding party familiar with the grounds. From the waterside vows, to the veranda cocktails, to the beautiful landscaping and access to the mansion, it was so much more than we hoped for. As a 2023 bride, I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at Carolina Country Weddings. If you are a bride looking to get married in North Carolina, you would be remiss to pass on touring/considering this venue for your special day. My partner and I searched high and low across North Carolina for the right fit, and no venue gave us butterflies like CCW did. First, the property is breathtaking and SO versatile, which we found saves money on decor in the long run but also brought our wedding day vision to life. The venue offers several ceremony sites, all of which are stunning, ensuring no two weddings are the same. CCW offers a convenient mountain feel close to the Charlotte area, allowing our loved ones to utilize the international airport and city. Second, CCW's packages are incredibly generous, offering so many "add-ins" that would undoubtedly cost us thousands more (our experience has been that wedding industry prices are outrageous, but CCW is fair). That feature plus the beauty of the property alone is worth booking a tour. But more than that, Melanie and her team truly CARE about you – never once in this process have our interactions felt transactional. It's worth noting that our close friends got married here, so we already had high hopes...we can confirm that our expectations were greatly exceeded. Instead, Melanie and her team stepped beside us and provided help and guidance where we needed it most. So many venues are wedding mills and care more about their profit than if your wedding day turns out the way you dreamed, but that is simply not the case at CCW. Melanie and her team are experts with a passion for making your dreams come to life and offer resources, guidance, and support to execute your vision. We are so glad we chose to book our wedding here, and I promise you will be, too!

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to host our wedding ceremony and reception at Arlington Acres and it was nothing short of a dream come true (even with the lovely OH rain that did not let up). For starters, Sarah and John are an absolute dream to work with. They were beyond helpful through the entire wedding process (we planned this from out of state AND with a 4 hour time difference) and they went above and beyond from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and have put their entire heart into making this venue as gorgeous as it is. We also hosted our Rehearsal Dinner here as well - I HIGHLY recommend doing both days if you have the chance. It was a blast setting up all day and basking in how beautiful the venue is. A favorite part for both of us were the bride and groom suites. There is a TON of mirror space for the girls, outlet plugs all over to accommodate the excessive amount of heating tools and phones we had plugged in, and gorgeous lighting for the makeup. The men had a nicely sized tv to accommodate for their football games that were on as well. 12/10. We cannot recommended this venue ENOUGH! We absolutely loved it and know you will, too. We are still receiving compliments on how beautiful the venue is (and we wholeheartedly agree ;).

From the time we got engaged, my now husband and I thought it would be so cool to get married at a science museum. Chabot did not disappoint! We first visited Chabot in May of 2020, two months after we got engaged, and right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. We worked with Samantha, Nicole, and Victoria, who were all awesome. From the get-go the Chabot staff were extremely flexible and accommodating, and that only continued throughout our experience with them (we had to reschedule once due to Covid). Rain was threatening the day of our ceremony, and the Chabot staff did not miss a beat with helping us through a backup plan. Our guests had a great time, we had an awesome time, and we can't recommend Chabot highly enough as a venue for geeky weddings.

The Dj Tracy was fantastic she took care of all my music, checked with me to make sure things where okay! My Photos where phenomenal! Patrick Julian was such a pleasure to work with! He went above and beyond to make sure I had the shots I was looking for! But GOSH DAM!!!!!! you should see my flowers!!!!!!! Leslie from Leapin Lily’s was just outstanding! We had our March 2023 wedding at Primrose Cottage and had an absolutely PERFECT day!! As a professional event planner, I had high expectations of the venue staff and they still exceeded every. single. expectation. From beginning to end, each member of their team (sales, planner, designer, director, bartender, chef, staff - literally everyone) was kind, professional, responsive and took pride in their jobs. Our family had two major medical emergencies three weeks before the wedding which required last-minute, out-of-state travel and significantly disrupted our pre-wedding timeline, payments and meetings. Shannon and Alison were especially helpful and gracious in accommodating us throughout our unexpected trials. When our wedding day finally arrived, our entire vision had come to life beautifully. There are very few events or weddings I've planned or attended where something didn't go wrong so I had realistic expectations but there is literally nothing I would change. 2 months later and our friends and family are STILL talking about the amazing food, gorgeous venue and perfect timeline (huge shoutout to Shelby who kept us on schedule and always made sure my husband and I had bourbon & champagne in our hand!). I cannot recommend Primrose enough - perfect experience for our literally perfect wedding day!!!

The Barn at Sunrise Farms was the perfect place for my wedding! We hung a chandelier in the gazebo (They’ve now added that for you!) and had our ceremony out there, and then had our reception in the barn. Everything was beautiful! I’ve had more than one person tell me it was the prettiest wedding they’ve ever attended! Plus, my girls and I were all able to get dressed and ready in the upstairs part of the barn and spend time hanging out there before the ceremony. It was all truly a dream, and I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Foods was fantastic, all the setup that was done for me was even better than expected (and unexpectedly almost all of the takedown!), and I had countless comments that the staff was SO wonderful and how great the venue was. Holy smokes. Where do I even start. The staff is super helpful throughout the entire process. They really do try to make your day as customized to your liking. They are also on top of everything. All the staff are super enthused for you and your partner and your GRAND day. The bridal suite is cute and amazing. Love the option of two different themes in the same building. My most favorite thing is the day of coordinator. She made the whole ceremony go swimmingly. If I were to do it again, I would 100% book this place. I am already telling newly engaged couples to take a look. Oh, and their food is wonderful. We got so many compliments the night of and many weeks after how delicious the food is. Katy & Mattie are great to work with ahead of the wedding and made the experience so smooth. Our family & friends keep commenting it was the best wedding they've been to, and I'm glad the Balistreri team made everything happen so smoothly during the day-of. Would definitely recommend booking here if you're on a budget but still want a magical setting!

The entire space is very spacious and you can conduct any type of wedding. House: The house is very spacious and private, it just feels like a home. The master bedroom is just WOW, you get so much space to get ready. The patio and pool are immaculate and the view in the evening is amazing. We got to have pre-wedding functions around that place. Venue: All my friends and family who visited were wowed by the beautiful place. The wedding hall was huge and easily fit more than 200 people. There are so many spots to click beautiful pictures around the venue. My Experience: The owners Naveen and Sri were so kind to help me out with all the arrangements on quick notice, I contacted them at the very last moment. They helped me out with the vendor's contacts and with onsite service during my stay. They were very responsive, either by email, call, or message, and they made sure to get back to me with all the details. They even made sure to check with me now and then if everything was going fine. They let us have the entire space during the stay even if we didn't use all their halls/places to ensure privacy. I highly recommend having your wedding at this venue, the place is very private and beautiful, and the owners will make you feel the most comfortable.

Leading up to the wedding day, I knew any question I had would be answered by Leah or our coordinator, Amanda. We had a relatively short engagement (about 8 months) and shopped for venues for a good while before deciding on Sunset Oaks. They try are the best for your money, so hands on and they are so transparent about their pricing and what they offer! Their decor closet is extensive! They had so much you can borrow for your big day for free and it was all actually cute/current things. The venue itself is beautiful not too rustic or modern a perfect canvas to hold your wedding day! We loved working with Coby she was so proactive and helpful and the big day went off perfectly.

This venue is breathtaking and I love that it's newer so no one I knew had used it. I was a little worried bc the showcases don't allow you to try enough of the food options to really make a decision about the wedding menu. I was pleasantly surprised with the food though. My planning process was a little frustrating until I got notified I was assigned a new planner. Payton is amazing and on top of everything. I decided to do their package with the exception of cake, flowers, and photography. I would decide what is really important to you and find those vendors on your own. Photography was number one to me. Emily Chappell is incredible but you don't get her with the Walter's package you get one of her assistants. Walters will take care of everything on the day of that they are responsible for. They also checked on the bridal party and I a lot throughout the day and night to make sure we were ok and see if we needed anything. I would recommend this venue!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space.
