The Barn was originally built in the year 1830 in Oxford, Maine, and used to be a dairy farm and apple orchard owned by the Pratt family. In 2015, it was transformed into an idyllic wedding & special event venue. The 1830 Wedding Barn is a classic, New England gem set back off of Route 26, surrounded by Maine farmland. Inside of the barn you will see impressive hand hewn beams, original wooden floors and walls, and repurposed original antiques like the hanging apple orchard ladders, hay-claw chandelier, and the Hebron Academy milk cooler. The barn’s historic quality creates a unique experience for guests to celebrate any event. Outside of the barn you will see rolling hills, fields stretching to the edge of the woods, trees from the original apple orchard (which we still bake pies from!), and sunsets fading to the western side of the property. Guests are welcome to enjoy and explore the outside areas of the existing apple orchard and surrounding grounds.

The Wintergreen Loft is a unique wedding venue for events with a modern, industrial feel... all tucked into the picturesque countryside of the Meadow Ridge Farm property. With ample space to accommodate small groups of up to 75 guests, our gathering space is the ideal blank canvas for bringing your event to life. The Wintergreen Loft is brand new to the Bangor, Maine area and will begin hosting events in 2025. Select dates are available. The Wintergreen Loft is also available for existing couples to rent as a backup ceremony + cocktail hour location for all weddings booked in The Red Barn.
