Formerly the St. Helens Fox Theatre, City Farm Chehalis has been majestically transformed and restored into a unique Western Washington landmark. Originally a Ford Dealership, City Farm Chehalis is history like no other. Combined with historic art from ancient exotic lands, City Farm transports you into another world making any event a one-of-a-kind experience. Works of art from the 18th and 19th century abound while period furniture compliments the décor. The building features Italian Renaissance paintings, which adorn the acoustic coves, and over 50 chandeliers including Lucille Ball’s dining room treasure. Jim and Christy Hutchison built their barn 20 years ago with the help of family and friends. Initially meant for their kids' 4H animals, the barn hosted their children's weddings in 2013 and 2015. Enjoying the love and gatherings the barn brought, they decided to share it with others, becoming a county-approved venue in 2015. Surrounded by stunning mountain views, tall cedars, weeping willows, and prairie fields, The Mason Jar offers a 3-day relaxed environment for weddings. The Hutchisons provide ample time for decorating, rehearsing, and celebrating without rushing, keeping pricing affordable with available decor to help reduce costs. Family-run and oriented, they believe in community support and annually donate a wedding to a deserving couple, embodying the heart and soul of The Mason Jar.
