I’m Dani Raymond — the owner and designer of For the Beauty Floral. My husband and I moved to Southern Indiana a few years ago from Brooklyn, NY. We’ve got two little girls who already know the difference between a rose and a tulip and who love growing up in Bloomington. I have always loved flowers and the beauty they bring to the world. After our wedding in 2009, for which I did my own floral design, I discovered a love for being able to create florals as part of a celebration. Since FtB’s official beginnings in 2019, I’ve learned a lot of the business behind the scenes, met some of my very favorite people and taken classes on floral design

My name is Maggie O'Heran and I am the owner of Magpie Weddings. I've been planning events, in one way or another, for over 7 years now, with a heart for weddings. With an education in hospitality management and a background in business administration, Magpie Weddings is my dream come true. Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Every person has innate interests and passions, and I recognized from a very young age that creating beauty in my surroundings was something that I wanted to be a part of my life forever. Shortly after I learned to write, I could be found embellishing my letters with little hand-sketched swirls and flowers. Making flower crowns from dandelions I found outside was a staple pastime of my childhood. This inner drive to create has evolved as I grew older and when I was first introduced into the world of floral design in 2016, I quickly realized that I wanted flower arranging to be a part of my life in some way from then on.

We source as much as we can from local farms and growers and focus on seasonal blooms and lots of bloom diversity!

We, my husband and I, started Fleurology for the need for a stronger connection with clients + the want to spend more time at home. We didn't know what we were in for with Fleurology Designs, but after 10 years in the floral industry (7 of those being with weddings and private events) my husband told me it was now or never to pursue my passions of being a business owner. Fast forward to today, 5.5 years later, we have a personal and customized wedding experience.
