“Two words best describe DJ D-Mac: Party Catalyst. I knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding mere moments into our initial phone consultation. His knowledge and passion for many genres of music was evident from the get go, he was both personable and professional, and he had a genuine enthusiasm for our event. As someone who had a strong vision of the vibe I wanted for our wedding reception, planning the playlist with DJ D-Mac felt like the true collaborative process of my dreams. He took my must play/do not play lists and ran with them, making additional suggestions and unique mixes. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping troubleshoot sound-related issues with the venue, making lighting suggestions, and even helping us find an excellent karaoke vendor for our after party. His personal style and the style of his DJ setup were sleek, cool, and a little retro, which only added to the wedding aesthetic. Most importantly, DJ D-Mac had an uncanny ability to read the dance floor and know which songs would keep people moving, seamlessly weaving together an eclectic dream mix of everything from '60s soul, disco, '90s R&B, and even Dolly Parton. I truly can't remember another time when I've danced so hard or so joyfully-- I had to briefly go outside to catch my breath after one particularly resplendent mix. Pittsburgh's Premier Solo Wedding Violinist! I'm a professional, award-winning violinist and composer with tons of wedding experience. Whether you wish for elegant classical music, toe-tapping fiddle tunes, or a favorite popular song, I can help you find that perfect sound! I offer high-end wedding sound at an affordable price. The instrument on which I perform is a gorgeous sounding violin made by MacArthur "genius" grant winner, Joseph Curtin. For outdoor weddings I use a Fishman SA330X Performance Audio System which provides terrific amplification without sacrificing the purity of acoustic violin.

“Devin was the perfect touch for our outdoor ceremony. There are not adequate words to describe his musicianship and talent. He went out of his way to make sure that he played exactly what we wanted. Devin also played at our reception and asked our guests if they wanted to hear something specific. My Austrian side of the family asked him to play "Edelweiss," which he promptly began to play. I can not rate this musician high enough. He also played the music for our first dance, which he learned, recorded at different speeds, added bars to the recording, and again, went out of his way to deliver the greatest day of our lives. I highly recommend Devin, and if I ever need a violinist/fiddler again, Devin is the only person I am going to call. As far as professionalism goes, Devin arrived early, and had everything that he needed. He also gave us options for what effects we wanted to come from the speaker. He was quick to respond to emails and we never had any problems getting in touch with him. This musician is a real professional.”
